From 13 to 16 November 2018, Karaganda state industrial University hosts the annual XI Presidential Olympiad in the subjects of natural and mathematical cycle among students of 11 classes of schools of our country, organized by the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Traditionally, over the past 9 years, this Olympiad has been held at the University, Alma mater оf the first President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev. On November 13, the opening ceremony of the Olympiad was held, which was attended by Honored guests-colleagues of the President of Kazakhstan.

The main idea of the annual Olympiad, held on the personal instructions of the Head of state, is the identification and support of gifted children-strong, intelligent, highly educated Kazakh students, education of their Patriotic spirit, as well as in – depth study of natural and mathematical Sciences.

Goals and objectives of the Presidential Olympiad:

1) creation of optimal conditions for the identification of gifted students in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology among students of secondary education, their further intellectual development and professional orientation;

2) increasing the interest of students in the study of subjects of natural and mathematical direction, the deepening of theoretical knowledge and skills;

3) promoting self-realization and self-development of the individual.

The presidential Olympiad is held annually in three stages:

1) first stage – regional-till November 1;

2) second stage – selection, is carried out in 2 rounds:

Round 1 – remote-until November 15;

Round 2-creative, essay writing (no more than 1 page, 45 minutes) on the day of the remote tour;

3) the third (final) stage – Republican

In total, 2461 graduates from 1427 schools (557 specialized, 602 rural schools) took part in the regional stage. Kazakh language students – 1511. According to the results of the 1st round, 407 students from 294 secondary schools (211

specialized, 80 rural schools) were admitted to the next round. Kazakh language students – 213.

Each participant of the Presidential Olympiad at all stages performs tasks in four subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.

All finalists of the Presidential Olympiad will receive certificates of participation, and the winners will be awarded with diplomas of MES.

This event was organized by the Temirtau Center for the Development of Languages ​​in cooperation with the Department «Kazakh, Russian and Foreign Languages» of KGIU.

The meeting was attended by about 50 students of different courses studying in the state language. The purpose of the event is to clarify the rules of the new alphabet on the Latin script. Head of the Center for the Development of Languages ​​of Temirtau Akhmetzhanova MB – explained to students the basic rules of the grammar of the Kazakh language, which will change with the transition to the Latin script. Then the students worked in groups, they were offered several situations that were solved during the discussions, the students actively answered questions.

Seminar materials will be a good help when writing dictation on the Latin script.

Students KGIU, Zimovets A.V. and Ziada T.T. took 1st and 2nd place in the annual Republican competition of research works in natural, technical, social, humanitarian and economic sciences among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Zimovets Alexander Vladimirovich TMiO-14 students were awarded a diploma of 1 degree for the best research work “Analysis of working conditions and modeling of stress-strain state (VAT) of rolls pillows”, the work was done under the guidance of Ph.D., associate professor Nogayeva Kairos Abilovich, and Ziyada Tileules Takatkyzy, a student of the BZhD-16k group, received a second degree diploma for the research work , the work was performed under The guidance of MD, professor Amanzhol Iztileu Amanzholovich.

The Republican contest of SRWS is held in 3 stages:

1) the first stage – intra-university;

2) the second stage – in basic universities (UMS);

3) the third (final) stage is republican.

The main goals and objectives of the NIRS competition were:

1) stimulation of research and educational activities of students;

2) selection and support of the most talented and gifted students;

3) assistance to the formation of the intellectual potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the Republican competition of research works from the Karaganda State Industrial University, 20 students took part.

On November 8, 2018, a meeting with representatives of Zhilstroysberbank of Kazakhstan JSC was organized for KGIU employees and students, as part of which detailed information was provided on the acquisition of credit housing under the Nurly Zher state program and a new family package bank project was presented to increase profitability their savings.

JSC “House Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan” is the only bank in our country that implements the system of housing construction savings. The system of housing construction Savings Bank is aimed at improving the living conditions of the population through attracting money from investors in housing construction deposits and providing them with housing loans. The main mission of Zhilstroysberbank is to provide Kazakhstani families with their own housing and to strengthen the feelings of the Motherland. Therefore, the purpose of this meeting was to raise public awareness about housing affordability, including the provision of assistance to young families.

The event was held in question-answer format.

Upon completion, the bank employees answered the meeting participants with numerous questions on housing loan programs and on the procedure for submitting documents for participation in government housing programs.

From November 6 to November 7, 2018, students of the third and fourth years of KGIU at the age of 20 became participants in training seminars within the framework of the “School of a Young Family”. The main goal of the seminars is to prevent divorce among young families and to strengthen the institution of a young family.

The participants of the event are young boys and girls, free, in a relationship, either already married, or who are already planning to take this step in the near future – for which the skill of solving conflicts and communication problems in the family is one of the most important for creating a happy cell of society .

Trainers and speakers of the training were professional coaches, practicing psychologists and family counselors.

The result of these seminars should be the formation of family priority for students in the context of the most important life values, raising a responsible attitude to parenthood and marriage, awareness of the importance of their own contribution to creating strong family relationships, the ability to find a common language and constructively resolve conflicts.

At the workshops, the participants were taught to understand each other, listen and hear a partner, and also studied the psychological differences between men and women, and much more.

As practice shows, such things need to be studied from youthful years, since, having understood elementary gender differences in behavior, it is possible to prevent a lot of conflicts and quarrels in future family life.

The participants of the seminars noted the relevance and usefulness of the events, discovered many interesting things for themselves and adopted a lot of weapons for future use.
