To the day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Leader of the Nation N.A.Nazarbaev on November 29, 2018, the KSIU hosted the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “COMPETITIVENESS OF THE NATION – THE MAIN CONDITION OF INCREASING PEOPLE’S WELL-BEING” dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Karaganda State Industrial University, where they discussed issues of industrialization, introduction of digital technologies in industry and education, education and the introduction of digital technologies in education and education. also the implementation of the “Ruhani zangyru” program.

The conference brought together famous scientists of our Republic and countries of the near and far abroad, such as Russia, Germany, Holland, Poland and Syria. Guests representing universities and enterprises of these countries are the main partners of KSIU.

As part of the conference, the grand opening of the 3D engineering factory laboratory was planned (this project is implemented under the “Digital Kazakhstan” program) and with the assistance of the “Nur Otan” party the opening of the SOTSBI information and communication center (Certified Telephone Network Equipment – Information Bank), which students and teachers will teach new information programs. Such centers today operate in the leading technical universities of Russia: Moscow, Samara, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Astrakhan, and Rostov – said Shakhmaran Seilov, President of the Kazakh Academy of Infocommunications.

Before the start of the conference, the guests and its participants visited an exhibition dedicated to the student life and labor activity of the First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, organized by the Historical and Local Lore Museum of the First President of Temirtau.

The plenary meeting of the conference was opened by the head of the Department of Education of the Karaganda region, Imangaliev Esengazy Nurtoleuovich.

The welcoming speech of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sagadiyev Yerlan Kenzhegalievich was announced by the deputy head of the education department of the city of Temirtau Zhaudinova Khalipa Korabayevna.

The following words were heard from the responsible secretary of the Advisory Committee at the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Aliyev Samat Bikitaevich and the words of the Executive Director of JSC ArcelorMittal Temirtau Basin Vadim Borisovich, who were voiced by the head of the technical department “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” Yevtushenko Igor Yuryevich, who noted that …. “This conference will give a new impulse for the integration of science and production, will bring cooperation between Karaganda State Industrial University and JSC “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” to a higher level …”

Further, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Karaganda State Industrial University and JSC “ArcelorMittal Temirtau”.

Gumilev, Professor Talal Awad; Dean of the Faculty of Agribusiness, Technology and Veterinary Medicine of Astrakhan State University, Full Member of the International Academy of Investments and Construction Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Arykbaev Ravil Karimovich, and Rector of Karaganda State Industrial University Bakhyt Akhatovich Zhautikov.

The conference was held in 4 sections:

1. Export-oriented industrialization: metallurgy, new materials and technologies (102 reports).

2. Digitization in education and industry (22 reports).

3. The development of spiritual and moral values in the context of the program “Ruhani zangyru” (28 reports).

4. The economy of the future and innovation management as the basis for increasing income and quality of life (43 reports).

on which over 50 reports were announced. The working languages of the conference were Kazakh, Russian and English. The conference proceedings included 194 reports.

In addition, the Temirtau City Historical Museum of Local Lore opened a visiting block installation timed to the 55th anniversary of Karaganda State Industrial University, the honorary graduate of which is the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.А. Nazarbayev.

The installation became part of the program of the X International Scientific Practical Conference “The competitiveness of the nation – the main condition for improving the welfare of the people.”

The installation included nine blocks detailing the history of KGIU from the moment of its organization to the present. The exhibition used unique documents on the development of the university, including a transcript of N. Nazarbayev’s speech at the 10th Congress of the Komsomol of Kazakhstan on the need to open a university in Temirtau, documents from the student’s personal affairs and graduate of the plant – HTEI N. Nazarbayev, materials on the participation of students in international labor Promotions and in the World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow. The exposition was supplemented by an exhibitor series: teaching aids for teachers and students of 1960–80, uniforms of participants in labor actions and delegates to the youth festival. The exposition was completed with a map of the world, on which countries and cities in which graduates of the KSIU worked and work were noted.

November 23, 2018 at the faculty of “Economics and Construction” by the teachers of the department “Economics and Finance” Professor M. Tatieva, associate professor Turabayeva M.B. and senior teacher Akmaganbetova A.S. for students enrolled in the program “Serpin – 2050” an open lesson was held on the topic: “Using active teaching methods to consolidate the material studied” in the discipline “Economics and Management of an Enterprise.”

The purpose of the open lesson was the relevance of providing conditions for the development of entrepreneurial qualities and abilities of students as a leading social competence, as well as expanding opportunities for their self-actualization and self-determination in individual and group educational activities.

The lesson was held in the form of a competition consisting of five stages:

– greeting, “Clever men and clever women”;

– solving tasks for a while;

– crossword puzzle;

– creative competition on an economic theme.

It was formed four teams of 12 participants.

The content of the open lesson corresponded to the purpose and methodological structure of the lesson.

In the process of conducting situations of mutual assistance between the participants were observed – each member of the group was included in the work, assisted his classmate in the selection of terms for the material.

By unanimous decision of the jury, the “Major’ S” team was declared the winner.

The open lesson was conducted within the framework of the implementation of the “Ruhani Zhangyru” plan and was aimed at developing entrepreneurial thinking among students of technical specialties.

In the future, it is planned to hold open lessons in other groups.

The event was attended by over 60 students.

On November 28, 2018, in the city of Karaganda, a meeting of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Karaganda Region was held, devoted to discussing the implementation of the tasks and goals set by the Head of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev in the program article “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”. The meeting was attended by. From November 22, 2018, a series of open lectures by Ph.D., Professor Marek Milosh is held at the university for full-time students.

Marek Milosh is Deputy Dean for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Lublin University of Technology (Lublin, Poland). He is the leader of many computer science research works and an active participant in coordinating many European projects (within Tempus, Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus +). He has extensive experience in the practical use of software and project management. For 10 years he worked as a project management coach at IBM Poland.

A series of lectures, prepared by him for KGIU students, are devoted to software development, database management, business process modeling, building and developing management information systems, developing IT technologies in electronic business and project management.

According to the students … The lectures of the professor are very interesting and intense. We get a huge charge of energy to continue our research on master’s work ….

The practice of inviting foreign professors to give lectures is useful and relevant for all universities. It allows you to get acquainted not only with the material presented by a foreign expert, but also with teaching methods specific to a particular country. In addition, students, undergraduates and doctoral students have a unique opportunity to improve their fluency in spoken English and enrich the professional lexicon.

The CSM team of the Karaganda State Industrial University “Ironborn” took 1st place in the regional tournament of the open league of CSM “Magnitka”.

On November 24, 2018, teams from Karaganda, Temirtau and Kokshetau competed on the stage of the city palace of culture of our city for possession of the Magnitka Cup; in total, 14 teams participated in the tournament.

From the first seconds the game it was very exciting, but despite this, the audience of the hall could get a lot of amazing emotions from each team and a huge number of wonderful impressions.

According to the results of the game: 1st place was awarded to the team of CSM KGIU “Ironborn”, 2nd place – the team “PedaBogi” and 3rd place – the team “Tsukerki”.

Team CSM KGIU “Ironborn” is a young team of our university. The debut of the team took place last year in the open tournament of the CSM League of Magnitogorsk.

The team includes: Tursunov Adilet – group E-17, Seidullaev Darkhan – group E-17, Kulzhambekova Karina – group E-16, Zhirenbaeva Zhansaya – group MTNM-17, Epaneshnikova Anastasia – group MTNM-17, Nugmar Kalim – student KEU , Ospanov Daulet – MGTK College.

The organizers of CSM were the youth wing “Zhas Otan”, the Temirtau youth club, the Temirtau Civic Alliance and the youth friend – the company “ArcelorMittal Temirtau”.
