An extended meeting of the University with the participation of candidates of technical sciences, PhD, professors and doctoral students was held at the Department of. At the meeting of the department was the dissertation work of the doctoral student of the department Metal Processing under pressure Dairbekova Guldana Suyundikovna in search of a PhD degree on the topic “Improvement of technology for the production of silicon products with the use of innovative methods.” As a result, taking into account the shortcomings of the dissertation, comments and suggestions were made for the purpose of improving the scientific work.

Within the framework of the Elbasy program “Seven facets of the Great Steppe”, in order to educate students of the KarIU of integrity, justice, good behavior, a curatorial hour was held with the aim of reviving our history on the horizon of space and time.

On November 5, 2021, within the framework of the «Rukhani Zhangyru» PhD program, Associate professor of the Department of «Metal Processing by Pressure» of Karaganda Industrial University Panin Evgeny held a master class on «Technology and equipment of PTM processes» for the teaching staff, students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering.

Within the framework of the master class, some of the latest relevant scientific works carried out by scientists of the PTM department in collaboration with leading domestic and foreign scientists were highlighted. Based on the results of these scientific works, a number of scientific publications have been published in the world’s leading cited publications included in the Scopus and Web of science databases.

The purpose of the master class was to popularize scientific work within the framework of the faculty’s educational programs and broaden the horizons of young people, as well as inspire them to new creative works, achievements, self-education and self-improvement.

As A. Polezhaev said: «Where science stands high, man stands high».

A student of the TME-18 group Bagdat Zharylkasyn took part in the Republican educational and practical project within the framework of education for sustainable development – «Youth and heritage: to learn, promote, preserve».

The main objectives of this project were: the promotion of domestic national tourism, the popularization of sustainable tourism, the opening of new tourist routes and the dissemination of knowledge about cultural and historical heritage sites.

The route «Karkaralinsk», developed by Bagdat Zharylkasyn, was recognized as one of the best. The award ceremony was held in Almaty.

Zharylkasyn takes an active part in research activities, is a prize-winner of republican and international scientific and practical conferences. He also participates in cultural and mass activities: as part of the KVN university team, he was a prize-winner of the Open KVN League «Magnitka NEXT».

We wish this route to become popular and in demand, which in the near future will allow the author to contribute to the development and popularization of the Karaganda region!!!
