«Society of Disabled People implements the national project «Birgemiz: Qamqor». Today, volunteers provide assistance to elderly people all over Kazakhstan. The role of volunteers in improving and creating comfortable living conditions for single elderly people is very important. After all, it is thanks to the care and support provided by volunteers that older people feel needed by society.
To date, the contest» Best Volunteer Team» has been announced as part of a social and charitable campaign» Give joy to the elderly», the winners of which can win up to 100 thousand tenge.
The aim of the Contest is to promote and develop the volunteer
movement, identify and encourage volunteers and volunteer organizations (associations) who have made a significant contribution to the implementation of the national project «Birgemiz: Qamqor».

On November 11, the Scientific Library of Karaganda Industrial University hosted the opening of a book exhibition of new educational literature. This time the library has prepared for its readers an open viewing of novelties of literature «Through a book into the world of education».
At the opening of the book exhibition, the Chairman of the Board — Rector Abdrasilov B.S. made a welcoming speech.
The exposition presented all the literature that entered the library in 2021: literature purchased by the university from 9 bookselling publishing houses in Kazakhstan and Russia; educational, methodological and scientific literature of the teachers of KarIU, published at the expense of the university (45 titles); literature published in various publishing houses of Kazakhstan and donated by our teachers for the library (36 titles). The books are presented in 3 languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.
A total of 1,706 copies of books have been purchased at the moment, this is 153 titles. There are also 191 names left in the work of the state procurement – 910 copies . educational literature.
In addition, 5 more multimedia textbooks designed for 5,000 users were purchased this year. This is a unique electronic program that contains text textbook material, video lectures, animations, virtual laboratories, applications for students and teachers. Now the university has 20 such multimedia textbooks, which helps students to actively master the educational material and acquire professional competencies and skills.
The IV International Book Edition of the Commonwealth of Independent States «The Best Young Scientists – 2021» is a unique project aimed at promoting science and personal success of young scientists of the CIS.
This project was attended by young and talented people who are passionate about scientific developments on various issues from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan within the framework of international cooperation in the further integration of science.
A doctoral student of our university, Esbolat A.B., was awarded a diploma of the II degree and a breast medal as the best young scientist in 2021 among the scientific and educational institutions of the CIS.
