On November 18, 2021, the Department of the OOD held a competition of readers dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose and objectives of the contest:

– promotion of works of classical and contemporary poetry of patriotic orientation, education of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism;

– identification, support and stimulation of talented performers who own the genre of the artistic word;

– acquaintance with the literary heritage of Kazakhstan, reflecting the greatness of our culture and the richness of the language;

– development of creative abilities of students.

Both classical and modern poems, prose and songs were performed in the state, Russian and English languages. The contest participants showed an excellent ability to expressively and with feeling tell poems and sing songs. More than 30 readers took part in the competition. The winners of the competition were: 1st place – Svetlana Savitskaya (TOP-21), Akisheva Akmaral (PGS-21k), Tleubek Arailym (TFP-21k);2nd place – Fatima Amankosova (TFP-21k-4), Asel Mirzabayeva (TFP-21k-2), Daulet Rakhimov (EiB-21);3rd place – Konratov Beksultan (PEiPB-21), Emelyanov Evgeny (OMD-21), Bakhtiar Aubakirov (TFP-21)

The reading contest was held in an atmosphere of kindness. All participants were awarded with a diploma, diploma, prizes for love and respect for their homeland – the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The success of any organization largely depends on its ability to use knowledge and benefit from available resources. To date, the career of a specialist is a lifelong process in which an individual independently determines and regulates the process of his training and professional activity; at the same time, this individual can repeatedly form, transform, and combine approaches to regulating the direction of his activity and even simultaneously work in several professional fields. At the same time, the approach to the educational system has changed from the traditional level approach to the concept of continuous learning (confidence in career and social security is not in the fact of employment, but in ability); career is increasingly viewed not only together with social recognition and prestige, but also from the point of view of personal success.
Therefore, the issues of formation, development and knowledge management are relevant for KarIU, for building and transforming completely new types of corporate culture and infrastructure.

In the period from November 15 to 19, 2021, the methodical week of the faculty «Economics and Construction» started. Based on the plan method.On November 15, 2021, Ph.D. in Economics, Professor Z.S. Gelmanova held a methodological seminar on the topic «The effectiveness of the formation and development of intra-firm knowledge in modern conditions» for the teaching staff and undergraduates of the university.

The purpose of the methodological seminar was to study the main provisions related to the formation, development and management of knowledge in modern conditions, as well as to develop tools that contribute to the effective formation and development of knowledge of a modern specialist.

The acting head of the Department «History of Kazakhstan and socio-humanitarian disciplines» of Karaganda Industrial University Soltan M.S. from November 16 to 17 organized an event in the «Temirtau City Museum of Local History» dedicated to the «Day of the National Currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan». This event was attended by 2nd year students studying in the specialty «Technology of pharmaceutical production».

During the event on the discipline «Fundamentals of Law and Integrity», a lecture was held for students related to the formation and development of money in circulation since ancient times.

In order to increase the interest of students, a game «Historical Monopoly» was held at the end of the lecture. During the game, the students were divided into groups and, together with the group leaders, completed logical questions and tasks aimed at improving financial literacy. When performing a game task created using historical exhibits, students comprehended the continuity of history and modernity. Through the game, each student mastered needlework, farming, trade, the value of currency and its exchange, interesting things related to the profession.

At the end of the event, at the exhibition in the Numismatics hall, there was an opportunity to get acquainted with the history of tenge and see other valuable money. The students left the museum with a special feeling. On November 12 and 16, 2021, representatives of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies held meetings with graduate students of Temirtau Higher Polytechnic College and Temirtau College of Economics, studying in the specialties «Computer Engineering and Software» and «Automation and Control».

During the meetings, the Vice-rector for Science and International Cooperation of Karaganda Industrial University Saparkhodzhaev N.P. addressed the students, who told about the key areas of improving the training of IT specialists at the university. College students learned about scientific circles working at the university, opportunities to receive additional training in the fields of information security and network technologies at Kaspersky, Huawei and Cisco courses.

The head of the Department of «Artificial Intelligence Technologies» Kunaev V.A. introduced the students to the educational programs of the department, told about the skills and competencies that students acquire during their studies, employment opportunities after graduation. The students also received detailed information about the rules of admission to Karaganda Industrial University after college, the rules of the Unified national testing.

The events aroused keen interest among college students, who asked the speakers a lot of questions about studying at the Karaganda Industrial University, the work of the game programming circle, the disciplines taught and the order of admission.

At the end of both meetings, the lecturer of the Department of «Artificial Intelligence Technologies», L.M. Belgibaeva, distributed booklets with detailed information about the educational programs «Automation Systems Engineering», «Artificial Intelligence Technologies» and «Software Engineering» to the audience.

The total coverage of students was about 130 people.
