In Karaganda Industrial University, the student club «Creation of Games» was created by the efforts of activists of gr. PI-21 Plotnikov Sergey and Shakhov Nikita under the guidance of senior lecturer Titova Zh.I.
Student clubs provide students with the opportunity to implement their ideas and turn them into reality. Involvement in student clubs gives students the opportunity to expand their intellectual and leadership abilities by independently managing clubs, which are the link between academic and non-academic experience.
Participation in student clubs gives many advantages: the opportunity to make new friends, develop new skills, work in a team, the ability to set and achieve goals, the development of creativity, as well as an interesting and fun pastime.
The goal of this club is not only to learn how to create computer games, but also to learn how to work both as a team and individually. The CLUB will always be open on Thursdays at 16:00 in room 220 of the main building.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies continues a series of guest lectures by representatives of business and production for students.
This time, on November 10, 2021, a guest lecture was held online by representatives of JSC «Rosoboronexport».ArcelorMittal Temirtau» for students of the educational programs «Automation Systems Engineering», «Artificial Intelligence Technologies», «Software Engineering».
As a lecturer, the students were addressed by the leading engineer of the technical dispatching department of JSC « Uralvagonzavod «.ArcelorMittal Temirtau» Yerbolat Rapagatov. He told the audience about the main areas of work of this division. Also during the lecture, such topics as Ethernet, IOT (Internet of Things), the possibility of using Smart glass ( smart glasses), the use of video analytics on AO were touched upon «ArcelorMittal Temirtau».
About 70 students took part in the guest online lecture.
The University management reached a preliminary agreement with JSC «ArcelorMittal Temirtau» on holding such online lectures for students on an ongoing basis, as well as on organizing excursions to the technical dispatching shop for students in the educational programs «Automation Systems Engineering», «Artificial Intelligence Technologies», «Software Engineering».

A system of financial incentives for student volunteers has been introduced in Kazakhstan. Now students who are actively engaged in volunteer activities will receive a monetary reward for their hard work and efforts. They can also be credited with academic credits. The relevant standards were introduced by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This solution is designed to increase the number of active students engaged in socially significant activities. For example, such as helping those in need, implementing various social projects, etc.

«The Ministry pays special attention to youth initiatives and supports their initiatives. For example, students are now given a credit card in the form of a voucher for 20 hours of volunteer work. It allows you to set off two academic credits (hours) at the university / educational organization where the student is studying. He will also receive a one-time cash payment in the amount of 20 000 tenge. It should be noted that payments to volunteer students are provided for tutoring in teaching languages and computer literacy, for working with children with special educational needs, for organizing yard and sports clubs, for social work with children, the elderly and people with disabilities, for environmental protection activities, and more.
