On October 20, 2017, on the basis of the Karaganda State Industrial University, a training and methodical course on gender equality and empowerment of women in the city of Temirtau and the implementation of the new Gender Policy Concept, signed by the Head of State in December 2016 for civil servants and operating non-governmental organizations), working in various spheres of life was held. Twenty-five people took part in the course.

The main task of the event was to explain the new Concept of Gender Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its main tasks and ways of implementation through new creative approaches.

Trainers of the training were President of PF “Ozarenie”, trainer in psychology and mediation – Tatyana Savitskaya, and Doctor of Economics, international trainer in economics, marketing and management – Elena Petrenko.

The participants discussed issues of strengthening the family institution, the role of women and men in the field of family relationships and outside family spheres, the importance of active inclusion of all citizens in decision-making processes, including in the public service system. The trainers presented presentation material proving on concrete data that without the reorganization and adoption of new benchmarks announced by the president and the time shown by these programs, it will be difficult to implement these programs, but considering various aspects, it is possible.

The trainers shared their experience in developing complex programs and projects that meet the needs of the presence. The main tasks of the program “Ruhani zhenhyru”, which helps to develop an integrated approach to the implementation of all programs aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and systematization of the work carried out by state bodies, were suggested and all participants of the event offered their help in explaining this project and training in implementing its basic concepts.

At the end of the seminar, its participants highly appreciated the importance of this training for all heads of organizations related to issues touched upon in the Concept and its programs. They stated that the systematic and demanded gender policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the national and international experience in the field of achieving gender equality, religious and cultural characteristics of the countries of the world community, as the “Gender Policy” in Kazakhstan is based on the principles of continuity and balance, is an important component internal policy of the country and is aimed at strengthening national consensus and unity.

As a result of the international agreements on mutual cooperation, made after visiting the exhibition EXPO-2017, on October 19, 2017, on the platform of the Interuniversity Academic Navigation Center in the field of mining and geology profile on the basis of the State Geological Museum, named after Vernadsky, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a teleconference timed to the year of ecology in Russia, which simultaneously connected Kazakhstani and Russian higher and secondary special educational institutions of the two countries in the “live” mode (online).

The format of this meeting was the lecture led by Professor G.B. Naumova “Biosphere in which we live.” Discussion in questions and answers.

Gorbachev, Kemerovo Mining Technical College, Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after MV Lomonosov, Aldan Polytechnic College, Mining and Geological College, Bodaibo Mining College, Grozny State Petroleum Technical University named after Academician M.D. Millionschikov, Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute and Kazan Federal University.

Summarizing the results of the teleconference, Kazakhstani and Russian participants of the meeting noted the usefulness and fruitfulness of contacts of this type aimed at expanding and strengthening the common information space.
