As the rector noted, the university has all the necessary conditions: an expanded base platform for the introduction of relevant educational technologies and the creation of digital educational production, corresponding to the audience with interactive equipment, video communication, a modern computer park, hardware and software complexes of Festo, Siemens and SEW Eurodrive, 3D –Printers, etc.

In addition, on the basis of KSIU, as a practical implementation of diploma projects in the profile of start-ups, a 3D-engineering factory laboratory is being created. There students will receive practical skills of a full cycle of 3D production and knowledge to support additive technologies in industrial enterprises.

Also, according to B. Zhautikov, the professions of the future have also been reflected in the university’s educational programs, such as management of drones, intellectual energy networks, solar and wind power plants.

In addition, the rector noted in the report that within the framework of the program “Digital Kazakhstan”, for the first time in the Karaganda region, on the basis of KSIU “Cisco Networking Academy”, 62 teachers of computer science at secondary schools and colleges of the region were trained for free at the course “IT Essentials – Fundamentals of Information Technology”. In the perspective of further cooperation is the opening of the “Karaganda Regional Center Cisco” on the basis of the University.

“Sustainable development is impossible without sustainable energy. Innovations, new ideas, non-standard solutions – this is what gave a new impetus for the implementation of large-scale tasks for the practical implementation and development of the principles of green economy to the students and faculty of KSIU after visiting Expo-2017,” B. Zhautikov said.

In total, during the three months, 1,567 students and employees of the KSIU visited the Expo-2017. When visiting the exhibition, direct contacts were established with foreign colleagues and laid the foundations for new international relations in the field of science and education.

October 24, 2017 students of the Karaganda State Industrial University took an active part in the seminar for trade union students of the Karaganda region on the conditions created by the government for the development of youth and their social and economic protection.

The purpose of the seminar was the need to familiarize students with their rights about employment, obtain affordable housing and opportunities to engage in entrepreneurial activities, as well as popularization of the student trade union movement in the Karaganda region.

The seminar was organized by the “Keleshek” youth council at the territorial association of trade unions “Trade Union Center of the Karaganda Region”, with the assistance of the Youth Council of the NGO “Karaganda Regional Organization of the Kazakhstan Trade Union of Education and Science workers”.

Particular attention was paid to the existence of a number of state programs, whose actions are aimed at providing support to student youth and giving it the opportunity to participate in various state projects.

Dariya Khamitzhanova, the chairman of the “Keleshek” Youth Council, in an accessible form, explained to the seminar participants the notions “Trade Union”, “Labor Contract”, “Labor Legislation”, as well as the need for active participation in state programs and projects provided by our government for students. Students saw some video materials about the birth and history of the trade union movement in Kazakhstan.

of Kazakhstan under the conditions of the housing construction program “Nurly Zher” and the terms of business lending under the program for the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship from the Entrepreneurship Development Fund “Damu”.

Participants of the seminar expressed interest and attention to the speakers. At the end of the event, the students were able to ask the speakers the questions they were interested in, as well as to specify the individual aspects of the speeches on an individual basis.

On October 21, 2017, students of the Karaganda State Industrial University visited the Karaganda regional Kazakh Drama Theatre named Saken Seyfullin, where the play “Adaskandar” (“The Lost”) was held, dedicated to the education of tolerance among young people, interethnic and interfaith consent, as well as terrorism and religious extremism.

The genre of the production is a drama, and the events told by the actors of the theatre from the stage are truly dramatic, the plot shocked the audience.

The play of playwright Kenes Zhumabekov reveals the negative essence of radical religious ideology. This statement about the fate of our compatriots joining the ranks of Syrian mercenaries. The main characters of the play are a young Kazakh family. Mother and father had died in Syria, Kazakhstan’s scouts are helping their son to return to their homeland.

The theatre hall was full and applauded to the actors’ play. The guys enjoyed themselves and filled their knowledge base. Like all Kazakhstan people, our students want to live in peace, without outside interference and without grief, which should not come to their homes through other people’s sermons

“The problem of terrorism in the modern world is acute. This performance is necessary to look at all young people, after all, they are the most influenced by recruiters. Young people are always in search of a good life, but, alas, in pursuit of “fast” money, you can be on the side of evil. This path leads nowhere, “- said Kapasheva Zhania Kudaibergenovna, deputy dean of the Faculty of Economics and Construction.
