On September 27, 2018, a conference with the participation of international expert Mahdi Salman Mohammad Alshamasin, organized by Professor of partner University Al-Balqa (Al-Balqa Applied University) of Jordan G. Amman, PhD Riad Taha Al-Kasasbeh was held at the University with the support of the office of the network Academy “CISCO”. The conference was attended by teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates.

Mahdi Alshamasin holds a PhD in electrical engineering / automatic control (mechatronics), author of numerous articles peer-reviewed in international journals with non-zero impact factor, member of the Commission on higher education in the engineering Department of mechatronics, collegial research Committee.

His scientific activities and the range of scientific research is quite wide and diverse. The main areas of scientific activity of Mahdi Alshamasin are: “Robots: modeling, modeling and control”; “drive systems of electric motors”; “Converters, measurements and signal processing”; “Automatic control” and “Biomedical engineering”.

During the conference, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers showed great interest, actively participated in the discussion.

At the end of the conference, the participants expressed their gratitude to foreign professors and organizers of the event, as well as outlined plans to strengthen and develop scientific cooperation, cooperation plans for academic mobility and research in the field of electrical engineering and automatic control.

On September 27, 2018, KGIU hosted a meeting of employees of the Department of internal Affairs of Temirtau with first-year students.

The purpose of the meeting – prevention of deviant behavior among young people.

The preventive meeting was devoted to the issues of administrative and criminal liability of minors for crimes and offenses.

Inspector of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Temirtau Rakhmatulina Zhania Toleubekovna spoke in detail about the most common offenses among young people and about the types of responsibility for violation of the law, explained how to behave in a difficult situation and where to seek help.

Sultanova Madina Maratovna informed the students about the regulations, about the inadmissibility of violation of discipline, the mode of the day in the hostel and the code of academic integrity.

The relevance of preventive measures of this kind, aimed at preventing offenses among students – the primary task of educational work carried out in the KGIU.

According to the plan of educational work of Karaganda state industrial University for 2018 – 2019 academic year, such meetings will be held on a regular basis 2 times a semester.

The number of people attending the event was 200.

On September 26, 2018, the round table “Implementation of the social initiative “Digital party” Nur Otan in KSIU” » was held on the platform of KGIU”, honorary guests of which were: Ospanova Hadisha Bazarbayevna – the first Deputy Chairman of Karaganda regional branch of the party “Nur Otan”; Yesimkhanov Dauren Zhagiparovich – Deputy akim of Temirtau; Lomakin, Aleksey Borisovich – the Secretary of city maslikhat; Esmurzaev Altynbek Atabekovich, the first Deputy Chairman of the Temirtau branch of the party “Nur Otan”, as well as the teaching staff of the University.

For the participants of the event, an excursion to the digital laboratory of 3D printing was conducted, during which a detailed explanation of the functionality and directions of the laboratory was considered, while focusing the attention of visitors on the fact that the process of 3D printing is the process of creating a real object on the model of a three-dimensional model by overlaying layers, and that the laboratory of three – dimensional printing can embody the most daring ideas in life!

The guests visited the public reception of the primary party organization “Palace of culture” in Temirtau, where the Deputy Chairman of the party Karipbaeva Aizhan Ryskeldinovna told about the activities of The public reception and future plans for its development. The reception was opened after the forum of PPO, held in August this year in Karaganda.

As part of the initiative project “Training of IT specialists” at the University opened a regional center of the network Academy “Cisco”, where more than 100 teachers-trainers of Informatics of secondary schools and colleges of the region were trained and certified on the course “IT Essentials”, and 4 teachers of the University were trained in the course “CCNA RoutingandSwitching” and received certificates of trainers of the Academy “Cisco”. We plan to train 140 IT specialists by the end of the year. Almost all computer classes opened in the Karaganda region within the framework of the social initiative of the “Nur Otan” party are taught by competent specialists who have been trained in the regional center Of the network Academy “CISCO”, opened on the basis of KGIU.

In the framework of the plan of measures on realization of the program “Rouhani Jangyru ” and in honor of Day of languages of people of Kazakhstan September 24, 2018 in the Karaganda state industrial University was held the intellectual game “brain ring”, teams of students and teachers competed there. Each team had 6 players.

This event has become a traditional event in our University. This game develops analytical skills, ability to think correctly and quickly, to make decisions quickly.

The game consisted of 3 rounds. 1st round-questions in Kazakh, 2nd round-questions in Russian and 3rd round-questions in English.

According to the results of three rounds, the victory was won by a team of students who showed the jury their knowledge, coherence, ability to work together and listen to each other.

The winning team was awarded diplomas and gifts, the players of the losing team received incentive prizes. In addition, both teams received sweet prizes from the trade Union of KGIU.
