As part of the celebration of the day of languages of the people of Kazakhstan on September 20, 2018, the Department of “Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages” held a competition of readers “Language – the soul of the nation”, the purpose of which was to arouse the interest of students to learn languages.
The variety of subjects and unusual manner of performance differed contestants – students of the first, second and third courses of the University and College at KGIU.
In the state, Russian and English languages sounded both classical and modern poems, prose and songs, including poems of his own composition.
Participants of the competition showed excellent ability to tell poems and sing songs expressively and with feeling. More than 30 readers took part in the competition.
The winners were: 1st place-Zhetpisbayeva Akerke (gr. UIA-18 KSIU), 2nd place-Beregovoi Cyrill (. gr. AIU -18 KSIU), 3rd place – Erboluly Ernar (FEC).
The recitation contest was held in an atmosphere of kindness. The jury unanimously advised the young readers to develop their gift of creativity and become famous poets and singers of Kazakhstan.
From 19 to 20 September 2018 on the platform of the office of “rukhani zhangyru” Karaganda state industrial University in the framework of joint cooperation with the KSPC “Historical and cultural center of the First President” for students and teachers held an exhibition of unique exhibits, including gifts from delegations of different countries, presented to the leader of the Nation in different years.

regional debates on topical issues discussed in the National report on the state of the civil service of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of anti-corruption, which was attended by civil servants and students of the Karaganda industrial University, were held on the Affairs of the civil service and anti-corruption in the Karaganda region.
The debate was held in two languages – state and Russian. Each team involved one civil servant and one student.
Participation in the debate tournaments, according to the participants, will allow students and civil service employees to hone such important for effective flexible skills as analytical and critical thinking, defending their position, communication skills and creativity.
Our debaters, Tuzikov Janyshbek, Alikhan Hips and Rahimian of Amiral showed wonderful result and made the best recommendations for the development of public service in the future will actively participate in debates for the Republican level.

On the eve of this holiday, September 11, 2018, representatives of the language development Center of Temirtau together with the Department of educational work and youth policy of KGIU held a round table on the theme: – “Language – the basis of friendship and harmony” which was attended by students and faculty of the University.
During the round table were reproduced videos and discussed such topical issues as:” Promotion and use of the state language”;” the work of Speaking club on the platform of KGIU in the promotion of trilingualism “and”Multilingualism – as a trend of modern Kazakhstan”.
Students Ashurov Sukhrob and Atakulova Zemfira presented reports on the theme ” the Language of my people.”
During the round table participants actively exchanged views and discussed the role of ethno-cultural associations in the preservation and development of the native language and culture.
As a result, recommendations were adopted for the further preservation and development of languages of ethnic groups and culture of the people of Kazakhstan.
