On October 18, 2018, a meeting of graduate students with representatives of Nazarbayev University was held at KGIU.
Representatives of Nazarbayev University acquainted the participants with the academic programs of the magistracy, doctoral studies functioning in the structure of the AEO “Nazarbayev University” – schools of engineering, science and technology, humanities and social sciences, higher education and higher business schools.
Nazarbayev University was established in 2010 and is intended to become a world-class research university in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Nazarbayev University works in accordance with international academic standards and is guided by the principles of academic freedom and institutional autonomy, which in 2018 produced the fourth graduation of students.
Today, Nazarbayev University has seven schools that offer undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in a strategic partnership with international top universities.
In addition, the university includes research centers under the auspices of the National Laboratory Astana and the Nazarbayev University Research and Innovation System, a pilot Technopark and other organizations within the Innovation Cluster of the Nazarbayev University, as well as four clinics of the University Fund Corporate Center.
Nazarbayev University seeks to create a new paradigm of research-type organizations in Kazakhstan and contribute to the development of Astana as an international educational hub, a center for innovation and knowledge.
The activity of Nazarbayev University is focused on preparing advanced researchers, innovations in technology and industry and supporting the Kazakhstan educational system during the transit period to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and integrated global economy.
During the meeting, students of 4 courses had the opportunity to learn, not only about the programs implemented by Nazarbayev University, but also about the procedure for submitting documents and the rules for participation in the competitive selection. The students also had the opportunity to ask their questions, to which they received detailed answers.

October 17, 2018 at the Department of Economics and Construction of the Karaganda State Industrial University, under the guidance of the teacher Turgumbayeva Gulnar Temirovna, a training seminar on the development of entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurial awareness was organized with the participation of representatives of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” and OO. Republic of Kazakhstan “Temirtau city.
The seminar covered general issues of entrepreneurship development in the Republic of Kazakhstan and, in particular, explained the specifics of registration of entrepreneurs in the form of individual entrepreneurs (Individual entrepreneur) and LLP (Limited Liability Partnership), because today quite often start-up entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan who decide finally own business, you have to deal with the question: “What is the best way to choose the form of business: LLP or IP?” .
Also, features of taxation for individual entrepreneurs and limited liability companies on a simplified mode were considered.
Particular attention is paid to the relationship of the entrepreneur with employees on wages, taxes and deductions. The main programs of state support for start-up entrepreneurs in the Republic of Kazakhstan “Mass entrepreneurship” and “Bastau-business” are disclosed.
The seminar was attended by university professors and graduate students of technical and economic specialties.

On October 16, 2018, a meeting of students of Karaganda State Industrial University with a specialist – theologian, head of KSU “Center for the Study and Analysis of Problems of Interfaith Relations”, a delegate of the 6th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions – Khaev Dauren Shegenyazovich, on the topic “Religions for the safe world of the twenty-first century”
This meeting was held in dialogue form with the purpose of outreach on the formation of legal consciousness and culture, religious literacy, as well as to prevent religious extremism among young people.
The theologian revealed the concepts of secularism, citizenship, tolerance, patriotism, and issues of an inter-ethnic nature were discussed.
Students listened attentively to the theologian and learned a lot in the sphere of religious trends of the present time.
During the event, youth representatives raised the most discussed topics of a religious nature, asked questions of interest and received detailed and comprehensive answers to them from the theologian D.Sh. Kanaeva. This meeting had an important educational value.
In the future, Karaganda State Industrial University will hold meetings and conversations on an ongoing basis in order to promote the ideas of peacemaking, partnership, tolerance and creation.

The formation of an independent Kazakhstan is inextricably linked with the celebration of the Day of Spiritual Harmony, which is annually celebrated on October 18.
As part of the celebration of the Day of Spiritual Harmony, on October 13, 2018, students of the KGIU Zhumashev Aizat, Tazhikov Konysbek, Nurgaliyeva Akerke, Bederov Alikhan, Yesbolat Aruzhan, Yesbolova Madina, Seilikhan Madiyar and Narbaeva Alnura took an active part in the debate tournament “Secularity – the foundation of peace and stability in society ”, organized by the Administration for Religious Affairs of the Karaganda region, held in the private institution“ Bolashak ”Academy in Karaganda.
22 teams took part in the debate tournament.
The purpose of this debate tournament was to increase the awareness and involvement of young people in public discussion on strengthening the secular foundations of our state, as the basis of interfaith, inter-ethnic harmony in society and countering terrorism and extremism in the Karaganda region.
The organizers of the tournament before the debaters set the task of promoting the secular principles of the state, forming an active citizenship and raising the level of knowledge among students.
The tournament consisted of three qualifying rounds, a semi-final and a final.
Students discussed the following topics: “This chamber believes that secularism, contributes to the fight against terrorism and extremism,” “This chamber believes that the duty to the Fatherland is a person’s shrine”, etc.
The judging was carried out by students, and experts from the Department of Religious Affairs and KSU “Center for the Study and Analysis of Problems of Interfaith Relations” acted as observers.
When deciding on the winners of the rounds, criteria were taken into account such as the validity of the ideas put forward, persuasiveness, structure of the speech, evidence, way of speaking, fairness, clarity, honesty and respect.
At the end, participants in the debate tournament were presented with diplomas and certificates and noted that the Day of Spiritual Harmony is a day of moral cleansing and the formation of new ethical priorities, which began at the turn of the millennia of our homeland, its wise and courageous people.
Supporting and asserting new traditions that contribute to the spiritual and cultural development of the nation, we all together promote human values, thereby opening up the limitless prospects for the development of Kazakhstan in the new millennium as a territory of peace and security.

October 12, 2018 in Karaganda State Industrial University was held reporting – electoral meeting of the primary party organization “Temirtau Palace of Culture.”
The primary party organization “Temirtau Palace of Culture” under the Temirtau city branch of the party “Nur Otan” has 981 party members in its ranks and includes PPO: KGIU, Palace of Culture, PK Vershina, KazEnergoMash LLP, the largest number of members is in the university ( 726 people).
In 2017, the primary party organization “Temirtau Palace of Culture” became the winner of the regional competition “Best PPO”, this is the result of daily party work.
The following issues were addressed during the meeting:
1. On the work of the primary party organization “Temirtau Palace of Culture.”
2. Discussion of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayeva to the people of Kazakhstan “Growth of welfare of Kazakhstan people: increase of incomes and quality of life”.
3. Election of the Bureau of the primary party organization “Temirtau Palace of Culture”.
4. Election of delegates to the city reporting and election conference of the Temirtau city branch of the Nur Otan party.
The meeting was opened by the chairman of the primary party organization, the rector of KGIU Bakhyt Akhatovich Zhautikov, who told everyone about the work done by the primary party organization for 2018, about the participation of party members in party projects and promotions, and about the main tasks for the coming period.
The second on the agenda was the issue of discussion of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan “Growth of welfare of Kazakhstan people: increase of incomes and quality of life”.
On the issue of electing the Bureau of the Temirtau Palace of Culture PPO, during the meeting by open voting, the following decision was made by the party members: to reappoint B.A. Zhautikova; appoint A.R. Karipbayeva and Secretary of the primary party organization “Temirtau Palace of Culture” to appoint D.Zh. Ybrai.
On the fourth issue, the Deputy Chairperson of the OTP Aizhan Ryskeldinovna Karipbayeva made a proposal to elect 30 delegates from the primary party organization Temirtau Palace of Culture to participate in the city reporting and election conference of the Temirtau city branch of the Nur Otan party.
In general, members of the party meeting, unanimously decided to recognize the work of the primary party organization “Temirtau Palace of Culture” – satisfactory. They recommended taking measures to strengthen the qualitative composition of party members, while paying particular attention to attracting citizens with an active lifestyle to the party’s ranks, and making the decisions made known to the public.
At the end of the meeting, Bakhyt Akhatovich Zhautikov thanked those present for their active and fruitful work and wished all members of the party continued success.
