From october 12 to 15 the ministry of science and higher education of the republic of Kazakhstan launched a patriotic dictation contest on the theme “»Atameken», dedicated to the Republic day, and an essay contest on the topic «Kazakhstan of my dreams».
The main purpose of this event is aimed at the development of civic consciousness of young people, education of their responsibility for the fate of the country and its future. It will be held in two stages, the acceptance of works will last until october 15.
Students, undergraduates and youth public organizations are invited to participate in the competition.
Self-made creative works reflecting the author’s vision and expectations regarding the future of Kazakhstan and his participation in the formation of this future are sent to the essay contest.
The entries are accepted in kazakh, russian or english.
Awarding of the winners of the first stage of the competition among university students will take place on october 19. The winners of the competition will be presented with memorable gifts on behalf of the rector.
The VI Central Asian international forum on quality assurance in education «Transnational interaction in the global educational space», organized by the independent accreditation and rating agency, was held in Almaty on the basis of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Within the framework of the forum, Karaganda industrial university was awarded the «Quality star» badge of this agency for the best academic achievements and commitment to research based on the results of the Eurasian University Ranking. The forum was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Germany, USA, India, Turkey, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and other countries.
Karaganda industrial university is one of the leading educational institutions in Kazakhstan for the training of engineering and technical personnel for the mining, metallurgical, chemical, energy, machine-building, transport, construction and economic sectors. Currently, we train specialists in the educational programs of twenty-five bachelor’s degrees, twenty-three master’s degrees, and five doctoral degrees. The university is a modern educational institution covering the country’s only industrial site in the metallurgical industry.
It has a scientific laboratory base, 60 specialized laboratories, including laboratories of nanotechnology engineering profile. The university closely cooperates with Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, China, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and non-CIS countries. Every year the number of graduates entering our university increases.
This year we have about a thousand students enrolled. Within the framework of the «Serpin» program there are many graduates coming from the southern and western regions. Our university has a developed scientific and technical base. Graduates entering the university are interested in technologies of pharmaceutical production, construction, economics and information security.
All conditions have been created for the students of our university. The university is fully equipped with new technical devices. In addition, for the city of Temirtau, the university is not only an industrial, but also a leading modern university. Lomakin Alexey Borisovich, Secretary of the maslikhat of Temirtau, is in close contact with university activists.
At the end of the meeting Lomakin Alexey Barisovich congratulated the rector of the University Abdrasilov Bolatbek Serikbayevich with the award «Quality star» and wished further success.
Every year, within the framework of international cooperation, professors from leading foreign universities give lectures and conduct practical classes for students of the Karaganda industrial university.
This year for students of the educational program “Software Engineering” lectures on the disciplines “IT Project Management” and “Software Development” are given by Professor of Gazi University from Turkey Aydin Chetin.
During the classes, Professor Aydin Chetin actively uses innovative teaching methods, such as lecture-problem, group work, development of own projects using specialized software and online services, applying the Agile approach to project planning and management.
The cycle of classes of Professor Aydin Chetin with students of the Department «Artificial intelligence technologies» will last until November 3, 2022.

The competition will last until October 15, 2022 and will be held in two stages and is aimed at developing the civic consciousness of young people, educating them a sense of belonging to the fate of the country and responsibility for its future.

Essays are sent to the e-mail of the higher educational institution where the participant of the Competition is studying until October 15, 2022 inclusive. Detailed information on the Competition is available on the website of the higher educational institution.
The competition work can be performed in Kazakh, Russian or English.
Awarding of the participants of the first stage of the competition will take place on the basis of higher educational institutions on October 19, 2022. Awarding of the participants of the second stage of the competition will take place in Astana.
A meeting with Varganova Elena Petrovna, deputy of the Temirtau city maslikhat, dedicated to the opening of the message of the president of the republic of Kazakhstan, took place today at the Karaganda industrial university. The meeting was attended by deans of faculties, deputy deans of faculties, teachers of the department and active students.
The first speaker was the deputy of the city maslikhat Elena Petrovna, that is, our goal is to turn modern science into a giant industry that will quickly lead the economy forward. Kazakhstan must meet the challenges in the global economy. We also need new and qualified specialists who will bring these scientific and technological innovations to production.
After all, human capital is the most valuable wealth. These reforms are aimed at correcting the way of life of the people, fully protecting the rights of every person to promptly conduct democratic processes. In a word, everything is being done for the benefit of the people. At the end of the meeting, the deputy was asked questions and topical issues were discussed.
