On october 21, the Karaganda industrial university hosted a student reception evening «Interesting mood, student life».
The purpose of the evening: to introduce students to the history of the holiday. to teach curiosity, the ability to respond rationally, ingenuity. Education of moral qualities by creating a good mood in the student to gain deep knowledge and become a competitive specialist.
At the beginning of the event, the rector of our university, Abdrasilov Bolatbek Serikbayevich, noted that he achieves good results and high achievements only thanks to continuous educational work. Comprehensive, conscious, deeply educated, competitive student youth is the demand of society. In this regard, along with education, multifaceted educational work is of great importance.
As part of the festive evening, students of FMiM, FETiSU, FEiS and TEK showed their skills. . The evening ended with the song motto «Gaudeamus».
  
Today, the Karaganda industrial university hosted a meeting of akim of Temirtau Taurbekov Oraz Kaisaevich. The mayor of the city got acquainted with the life of the university, with the training program.
In his speech, the rector of the university noted that the university is young, dynamically developing, and also noted the great contribution of students to the development of the university. In addition, students were asked about the quality of knowledge they receive at the university and received satisfactory answers.
The next stage of the meeting was accompanied by students’ questions to the mayor of the city. The students, in turn, asked their questions and received satisfactory answers.
The board members gave exhaustive answers to the questions raised at the meeting based on bilateral effectiveness. Mayor of the city Oraz Kaysayevich noted that the proposals made during the meeting to students will not be ignored.
At the end of the meeting, the rector of the university urged students to be fully active and work together as part of a large team.
At the suggestion of the rectors of universities, Oraz Kaisaevich instructed to develop a list of the most problematic issues faced by higher education institutions.
  
 
On оctober 20 the intellectual game contest «Tarikhi Kadam» was held at the Karaganda industrial university, dedicated to october 25 – the Republic Day.
The purpose of this event: organizer Askar Kanatovich «To show the relevance of the country’s historical step towards building a state, to explain to young people the importance of returning the status of a national holiday – Republic Day». In the competition, the teams took part: Dala kyrandary, S Sanaly zhasar, Alash toby, Windows 22, Zaman bizdiki and TOP-21K. the competition was held from three stages.
The head of the department «History of Kazakhstan, social and humanitarian disciplines» Soltan Magira Soltanovna made a welcoming speech and wished good luck to the students participating in the competition. The contest was very interesting.
As part of the team, the 1st place was taken by Dala kyrandary, the 2nd place was taken by the team Alash toby, the 3rd place was taken by the team TOP-21K. And the 4-5th place was taken by the teams of Sanaly Zhasar, Windows 22 and Zaman bizdiki.
The winners of the competition were awarded with a special diploma and cash prizes by the dean of the faculty of «Energy, Transport and Management Systems» Makhmutov Bolat Bizhanovich.
On october 19, the Karaganda industrial university hosted a curatorial hour dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the writer Sherkhan Murtaza.
Today we would have turned 90 years old. Who is Sherkhan Murtaza and what kind of creative legacy he left to his descendants. Sherkhan Murtaza is an outstanding figure of kazakh literature, a luminary, a wonderful writer who has educated more than one generation of Kazakhstani journalists. For his rich career and outstanding achievements in the field of literature, the outstanding Kazakhstani received many honorary titles and awards.
Students are offered an exposition, which presents not only the works of the author, but also periodicals about his life and work.
Sherkhan Murtaza is an outstanding figure of Kazakh literature, a luminary, a wonderful writer who has educated more than one generation of journalists in Kazakhstan. For his rich work and great achievements in the literary field, the outstanding Kazakhstani received many honorary titles and awards.
Sherkhan Murtaza has passed many life trials. But despite the difficulties, the writer retained humanity, optimism, hard work, responsibility and devotion to his people.
 
From october 5 to 17 the traditional annual sports contest among first-year students was held at Karaganda industrial universi.
The purpose of the sports contest is to promote a healthy lifestyle, attract students to physical education and mass sports. Competitions were held in nine sports. During the competition, places were allocated and the winners were determined. According to the results of all competitions, the places were distributed as follows. The 1st place was taken by the FIM team, the 2nd place was taken by the FETIS team, the 3rd place was taken by the FES team.
The winning teams and prize-winners, as well as prize-winners and winners in the individual championship were awarded with diplomas, medals, cups and valuable prizes.
The competitions were held without injuries. The judging of the competitions was carried out with the active participation of the teachers of the FB section, student-athletes of senior courses.There were no complaints to the judicial team.
