On November 29, 2019 in Karaganda state industrial university the Republican scientific and methodical conference “Transformation of education: content, technologies, quality” will be held.

The purpose of the conference is mutual exchange of experience in identifying trends and prospects of transformation of education, the definition of modern technologies and best practices for the development of education quality, the establishment of scientific and partnership contacts between universities of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.

Traditionally, the conference serves as a recognized dialogue platform for interaction between the University community, employers and business partners to transform the educational space into a space of transformation of socio-cultural relations.

More than 100 reports from universities of  Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan were presented for participation in the conference.

After the plenary session, the conference will continue in the following focus groups:

– Preventive approaches of integrity ideology and the third mission of universities.

– Business English and intercultural communication.

The Grand opening of the conference will be held on November 29 at 10.00 in the conference hall of the new building of KGIU (Temirtau, Republic Avenue, 30).

From 22 to 24 November 2019, students of Karaganda state industrial university took an active part in the open republican debate tournament for the Cup of the Minister of internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Zhastar zhane kogamdyk kauipsizdik”.

Hot discussions, hot emotional remarks, rage, laughter, excitement, anger, indignation, sincere joy of victory and sadness from defeat-all these feelings were experienced by the participants of the event.

The worthy rivals of the student league fought an intellectual duel, demonstrated the mastery of oratory and defended their positions with honor and dignity.

According to the results of the debate tournament, the second place of honor was awarded to our debate team “Lincoln”, and the best speaker of the tournament was recognized as a student of groupM-16K -Rakhymzhan Omirzhan.

Each participant was also awarded a certificate of participation of the Republican debate tournament for the Cup of the Minister of internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Zhastar zhane kogamdyk kauipsizdik”.

This  is the seventh victory in the piggy bank of our debaters in a row!!

On November 22, 2019 the KVN team of Karaganda state industrial university “Gianluigi Buffon” took the first place in the fight for the Cup of Akim of Karaganda region. Besides Temirtau Members in the fight for the Cup was attended by Champions official League of KVN “Siberia”, the command “random” in the city Nur-Sultan, the finalists of the regional KVN League “Irtysh” team “team ENU” in the city Nur-Sultan, the “Brooklyn 9-9”, Karaganda and winners of the open League Magnitogorsk “the shoes of my grandfather” Yereimentau.

Ahead of our winners-participation in the finals of the Higher Omsk KVN League, the venue of which will be the city of Omsk.

On November 4, the XIII regional sports Contest among students for prizes of Akim of Karaganda region started in Karaganda. The organizers dedicated the current championship to the year of youth.

The competition was held inclusive from 4 to 22 November 2019. Students of our university took part in competitions in 4 sports (basketball, volleyball, football, Kazakh kuresi).

Teams of nine universities of Karaganda region competed in the games.

The games were held in two stages. In the first stage of the competition, the teams of our University took the following places: Basketball-5th place, Volleyball-5th place, Football-6th place.

The student of group M-18K Azatbek Nurasyl took the third place on national wrestling Kazakh kuresi.

The second stage of the competition-the city spartakiad in team sports among students, dedicated to the day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held from 18 to 22 November 2019.

At the end of the second stage of the competition the teams of KSIU took the following places:

Football-2nd place;

Volleyball boys-1 place;

Volleyball girls-1st place;

Basketball-in the hard struggle, the 1st place was awarded to the team of KSIU, the 2nd place was taken by the team of the Technical and economic College at KSIU.

Winners and prize-winners were awarded with cups, diplomas and valuable prizes, distinguished in the individual competition, received diplomas and medals.

The participants of the competition noted that a healthy and active lifestyle is now at the peak of popularity among young people, and our state is doing everything to support the desire of the new generation for physical and spiritual growth. This spartakiad allowed to strengthen the established sports traditions of the Karaganda region. Students will not only get a huge boost of energy and positive emotions, but also gain new friends and associates.

 As part of the implementation of the action plan for the implementation of the Ruhani Gengyru program, more than 100 students of the Karaganda State Industrial University on November 22, 2019 took part in a training seminar devoted to the topics “Fundamentals of Youth Leadership” and “Fundamentals of Preparing Youth for Family Life”.

The main goal of this event was to form the participants’ understanding of family values ​​in modern families, the ability to listen and give feedback, as well as the development of personal qualities that contribute to the formation of family values.

In the framework of this seminar, students received a lot of useful information on strengthening the values ​​of marriage and family relations, on the formation and strengthening of family relations and on raising the institution of the family in Kazakhstan.

The relevance of the seminar is that in Kazakhstan the number of divorces is increasing every year. This is due to the fact that young people are not ready to create a family. In the first years of marriage, a young family also encounters psychological difficulties such as adaptation to living together, establishing a certain psychological distance with genetic families, learning new roles in connection with the birth of a child.

All these issues were highlighted during the workshop.

Our students actively participated in the training and came to the conclusion that it is in the family that the most important moral and moral attitudes of the person are formed. Parenting is inseparable from supporting family values, as the personality is formed in the family.
