On March 16, at the Karaganda Industrial University, the School of Integrity, the student club «Sanaly Urpak» together with the Department of Educational Work and Youth Policy in accordance with the Model Comprehensive Plan of the Project Office «SANALY URPAQ» conducted a survey on manifestations of corruption among students.

The purpose of the survey is to monitor compliance with the principles of academic integrity and identify effective ways to improve the culture of integrity in the student environment.

The survey was conducted in an online format on the KarIU website.

The number of respondents who took part in the survey was 295 people (students of 1,2,3,4 courses).

As a result of the survey, the students noted:

– the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures;

– adherence to academic principles at the university is under

Strict control;

– corruption risks among students.

The Karaganda Industrial University held a photo collage competition on the theme: «Nauryz toyy – bereke, Nauryz toyy – mereke».

The purpose of the competition: the promotion of national customs, rituals, family traditions.

Students submitted bright works to the competition, which captured moments of Nauryz celebration in their families, significant events and folk traditions.  1st year students studying in the specialties «Technology of pharmaceutical production», «Software engineering» took an active part in the competition.  We express our gratitude to all the participants, the jury will sum up the results and determine the best works.

The best photographs of the participants of the competition will be awarded with diplomas of 1, 2 and 3 degrees, as well as with diplomas in additional nominations.

From 24 to 26 February 2021, more than 50 teachers, staff and students of the Karaganda Industrial University were trained during the methodological online webinar on the topic: “Methods and models of innovative and technological development of the Karaganda region in the light of the implementation of the Rukhani Zhangyru Program.” The organizer of the seminar was the Academy of System Analytics and Modeling “Karaganda Methodological Center” under the leadership of the director of the center, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor, methodologist Tsoi Valery Ivanovich.

The main purpose of the seminars is to attract as many people as possible to the Methodological Center, which will be created in Karaganda. As a result, the center will make it possible to establish a dialogue between public organizations, state bodies and activists of the Karaganda region.

Having studied the material of all three seminars, the participants of the webinars received a huge amount of useful information within the framework of the new management thinking, the development of which is largely determined by the results of the lecturer’s research and development. The knowledge gained can be used in the educational activities of our educational institution.

The project is being implemented by the Association “Civil Alliance of the Karaganda region” together with the Academy of System Analytics and Modeling (Nur-Sultan).

In February 2021, the university held the “Best Employee of the Month” competition. Based on the results of the competition, the commission selected the best employees of the university, according to the submissions for the participants in the competition.

For the best employees of the month at the university, an order was issued by the acting Chairman of the Management Board-Rector for rewarding with the “Rector’s Certificate”, followed by posting photos of employees on the university website.

The winners are:

– Mendybaeva Dariga Hayreddenovna – lecturer of the Department of KRaFL;

– Krivenko Nina Sergeevna – administrator of distance learning APD.

At Russian language lessons with first-year students with the state language of instruction, the teacher of the department «Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages» Dariga Hayreddenovna Mendybaeva regularly conducts a «Minute of Literacy».

This develops the oral and written speech activity of students, forms their speech behavior and the ability to perceive and understand the speech of the speaker. Freshmen are given the opportunity to enrich their vocabulary, improve the culture of speech.

Our university enrolled students who entered the program «Mangilik el zhastary industry – Serpin», they all came to Temirtau from the southern regions and teaching them the Russian language is an important stage. The university has a multilingual program, along with the Russian language, students are actively studying English. The teachers of the department use various innovative technologies for learning languages.
