On the 11th of November , 2022, the event «RETRO KARAOKE» was held at Karaganda Industrial University with the participation of the teaching staff of the department of Kazakh, Russian and Foreign Languages as part of the methodological week of the faculty of Economics and Construction. The 1st and 2nd year students took part in the competition. The purpose of the event was to identify and support talented performers of retro songs among students. The application for participation in the competition was submitted by 17 students. On November 09, 2022, as part of the methodological week, the teacher of the department “Construction” Kasenova A.N. an open lesson was held in the discipline “Architecture of civil buildings” on the topic “ Жаңа құрылымдарды құрылыста қолдану ” with the participation of the group дПГС-21k. The purpose of the open lesson was to familiarize students with the concepts of energy saving and energy efficient construction, which is necessary for the design and construction of architectural and construction objects. In order to form strategic thinking in the field of energy efficient construction, students were asked to do tasks in advance, in the form of a presentation for a practical lesson. Topics for practical work are related to energy-efficient materials in construction (Smart glass, energy-efficient houses), unique buildings and structures, new materials and technologies for the construction of buildings and structures (modular buildings, 3D walls). The implementation of practical tasks gives students awareness and the ability to solve problems that arise in their professional activities. For example, to perform practical work, student Balagazy Buldirshіn contacted Smart Glass suppliers for complete information, and student Torebai Dinara made a comparative analysis of modular buildings. Student Kalmyrza Nursultan pointed out the importance of using energy-efficient materials in construction and emphasized that “Energy-efficient houses are our future.” Student Akisheva Akmaral spoke about the objects that fall under the category of unique buildings, and student Umarov Damir listed the exterior and interior 3D wall panels. Students actively worked and answered questions, all works were accompanied by presentations and were listened to at an open lesson.
