Competitions were held from 7 to 16 February in the sports hall of the university. The tournament was attended by more than one hundred students, who represented twelve teams.

Game in groups went on a circular system, in the final two teams came out. During the cross games, the winners were determined. The leader was the team “Rasta”, consisting of students of the final course. On the second place – third-year students from the team “Ordabasy”, the third position was taken by the team “Adidas”. The best striker of the tournament is student Gr. “M-16k” Mukhtarkhan Yelnur, the best goalkeeper – Arystan Erzhigit (“TTTandT-16 k”).

– Competitions were held at a good level, without injuries and protests. The competition was judged by senior students. Final games were served by the judge of the international category Nurmustafina Elvira. Winners and best players were awarded with a cup, diplomas and prizes, – said the chief judge of the competition, the teacher of the section of physical education KSIU Raisa Kolesnikova.

Teachers of the Karaganda State Industrial University visited the Rostov, Lenin, Tokarevskaya and Gagarin secondary schools of Bukhar-Zhyrau district, where they met with graduates of the 9th and 11th grades.

The purpose of the meeting with schoolchildren is to help them choose their future profession. Teachers of the university told about all the specialties of the university, as well as the college under the State Research Institute of Communications, about their peculiarities and relevance, about the spheres of employment after graduation in this or that profession.

Schoolchildren showed high activity and asked various questions of interest on the topic of vocational guidance.

The fair of public services was conducted by the department for quality control of public services on the initiative of the apparatch of Akim Temirtau in the building of KSIU on February 13. For greater coverage of the population, this event was decided to be held before the meeting of the head of the city.

Representatives of the State Revenue Department, Justice Department, Migration Police Department, SCP, Interagency Settlement Center for Social Payments and others took part in the fair.

On this day, more than 150 students of Temitau received consultative and methodological assistance in the most demanded spheres of rendering public services: in such areas as education, justice, migration, state incomes, housing, land relations, architecture and town planning, employment, social protection of the population. In addition, the staff of the SCP was trained in the skills of using the portal of “e-government”.

At the fair, videos were shown about the activities of government agencies, brochures were distributed, and visual information was displayed on the stands. According to the press service of the city akim, the population was provided with professional support from specialists in specialized areas providing public services, as well as the opportunity to receive an electronic digital signature. Any resident of Temirtau could ask interesting questions, get the necessary advice and express his opinion on the work of state bodies.

At the Karaganda State Industrial University on February 13, the reporting meeting of Akim of Temirtau Galym Ashimov with the population took place.

Participation in it was received by State Inspector of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan S. Sh. Bekbergenov, secretary of the Karaganda regional Maslikhat S. B. Uteshev, first deputy chairman of the regional branch of the party « Nur Otan» K. B. Ospanova, head of the state administration “Industry and Industrial- innovative development of the Karaganda region ” G. A. Zhumasultanov. There were deputies of the oblast and city maslikhats, members of the public council, heads of contract organizations and enterprises, veterans and aksakals of the city, representatives of political parties, public and religious associations, and mass media.

Attention was given to the report of the head of the city on the work done in 2017, and plans for 2018. At the end of the report, the community asked the akim questions concerning the environmental situation, improvement of the city, construction of housing for socially unprotected categories of citizens. There were 22 questions in total, nine of them were taken for control, the rest explanations were given immediately.

Pavlodar hosted the XXV regional festival of KVN on February 11, following which fifteen out of twenty-eight participating teams, including the KSIU team, entered the league “Irtysh” under the auspices of «Alexander Maslyakov and the company».

The game was a breeze. As the students of KSIU say, it was easy for them to participate in such an event. Our countrymen won in two special nominations – “The most cheerful team” and “The Voice of the Festival”. Congratulations!
