As a result of the winter examination session of the academic year 2017-2018, vacant educational grants released in the process of obtaining higher education were awarded to several students of the Karaganda State Industrial University, who had previously studied on a paid basis.

The holders of vacant educational grants were Akerke Nurlanova and Zhibek Abuova (“Automation and Management-16k”), Makpal Berdenbaeva (“Machinebuilding-15k-2”), Ramazan Mamyrov (“Electroenergy-16k”) and Ayan Shermetova (“Construction-16k”).

The rector of the KSIU, B. A. Zhautikov, congratulated the students, who will now study for free, with this important event.

– I entered the KSIU to become a good specialist. When I learned that I was awarded a grant, the emotions were indescribable – I was so happy, Zhibek Abuova said. – I am very grateful to the leadership of our university. I will try to justify my hopes.

“I am proud to be studying at the university, which was finished by the Head of our state,” Ramazan Mamyrov joins the conversation. – Of course, I’m glad that I received a grant and that the rector of the university congratulated us personally – it’s a great honor.

– Studying at KSIU is friendly students, sympathetic teachers, caring deans and their deputies. Studying here is when everyone knows each other and lives with one big, united family, “says Akerke Nurlanova. – I can not convey my emotions in words at the moment I learned about the award of the grant. Joy there was no limit! Now I’ll try even more.

A book exhibition titled “Novelties of educational and methodological literature” will be held in the hall of the main building on February 28. On the first floor, not far from the entrance, from 11 to 13 hours you will get acquainted with the manuals sponsored by the teachers of the Karaganda State Industrial University.

Among the presented literature – more than fifty copies of diverse scientific and methodical manuals. Among the novelties – “Technology and theory of lead production” (authors – O. Artykbaev, E. Kharchenko, T. Egorova), “Intensification of blast furnace smelting” (A. Torgovets, I. Pikalova, Y. Yusupova), “Hardening technology” (B. Bykhin, S. Ainabekova, M. Abishkenov), “Control Systems in Mechanical Engineering” (I. Kuzminov, O. Krivtsova), “Evaluation of Jewelry” (O. Silaeva), “Designing a Database” (A. Chvanov ) and many others. Work on the benefits was completed by the authors in the period from 2015 to 2017.

– Methodical instructions for the discipline “Automation of metallurgical production”, which I developed after a lot of visual material was collected, will be used in the educational process for students of the specialty “Metallurgy”, – says and. about. head of the department “EA and CT ” Olesya Yushchenko. – The work was easy, because the information was collected and systematized for more than one year.

The meeting of Australian businessmen with students of the first, second and third courses took place in Karaganda State Industrial University.

Australian businessmen David and Denis talked about Australia using the presentation for an hour. And it was only in English. It was about the administrative structure of the country, the animals living on its territory, unusual buildings and much more. All this information, in principle, can easily be found on the Internet, but because of its presentation in pure English, it was perceived, in the students’ opinion, in a different way – with great interest.

– Foreign guests tried to convey information as clearly as possible – there was present and presentation, and gestures. This meeting was like a casual conversation. We asked the questions of interest, – says the student of the group “TOMD-17” Kirill Malov. – For us it was a great experience.

In the city Spartakiada of student youth in game sports, representatives of Karaganda State Industrial University took the first three places.

In the competitions were attended by nine teams representing the Temirtau colleges and KSIU. As a result of the hard struggle, the team of our university became the leader of the tournaments in football, volleyball and basketball.

Spartakiada was held at a high organizational level. Winners were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
