On November 6-7 of this year, with the support of the Ministry of information and public development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the NJSC «center for support of civil initiatives», the II meeting of the youth Affairs Committees and the XVII Republican meeting of the Alliance of students of Kazakhstan took place in an online format (the venue is Nur-Sultan).

Minister of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Kanatovich Aimagambetov, Chairman of the Committee on youth and family Affairs of the Ministry of information and public development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shahmardan Askarovich Baymanov made a welcoming speech at the Republican meeting.  In his speech, Shahmardan Baymanov congratulated the student movement on its 15th anniversary and stressed the key role of student youth in the development of the country, and announced the measures being implemented to support the development of student self-government, youth initiatives, etc.

In addition, in the new format, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gennady Shipovskikh, Deputy Chairman of NCE RK «Atameken» Olzhas Ordabayev, Chairman of the Board, Rector of NJSC «Astana Medical University» Dainius Pavalkis, Provost of the University OF KAZGU named after M. S. Narikbayeva, administrator of the ADAL BILIM project office under the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sergey Pen, Adviser to the General Director for strategic development of the Independent accreditation and rating Agency (HAAP/IAAR) Gulnar Iskakova And head of the analysis and quality Department of the Independent Agency for quality assurance in education (IQAA) Galiya Rakhimzhanova openly discussed the development of Kazakhstan’s education and the impact of modern challenges on the quality of education, professional development, employment of young specialists.

More than 300 young people from all regions of Kazakhstan, including more than 100 chairmen of youth Affairs Committees at colleges and Universities, leaders of youth and student organizations, Directors of departments for work with students, Vice-rectors of universities, interactively joined the event through the ZOOM online platform.

In the event of NJSC «Karaganda state industrial University» was attended by head of sector «Social and cultural activity» of the Department on educational work and youth policy KarIU Popova N. E.

During the meeting were awarded prizes, special prizes and certificates the winners of the competitions «Best student government», «Debate tournament» the winners of the prize

« Kazakhstan altyn zhastary».

As a result of the discussion, recommendations were developed that will be sent to state Executive bodies within the framework of the «listening state» concept.

We are pleased to note the excellent organization of such an important event, its rich and fruitful program, high professional level and relevance of the proposed topics. In the course of the work, there was an interest of all participants in the topic of the panel discussion, interest in the issues raised. After all, today student self-government is one of the important conditions for improving the sphere of education and educational work at the University. On November 4, 2020, a meeting of the primary party organization «Temirtau Palace of culture» was held on-line.

The primary party organization «Temirtau Palace of culture» at the Temirtau city branch of the «Nur Otan» party has 420 party members and includes PPO: KarIU, Palace of culture, «KazEnergoMash» LLP, the largest number of party members is at the University.

The following issues were considered during the meeting:

1. about the work of the primary party organization «Temirtau Palace of culture».
2. Election of delegates to the city conference of the primary party organization «Temirtau Palace of culture».

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the primary party organization, rector of KarIU zhautikov Bakhyt Akhatovich, who told everyone about the work done by the primary party organization in 2020, about the participation of party members in party projects and actions, and about the main tasks for the upcoming period.

All the activities of the Karaganda industrial University, as a structure of the Temirtau Palace of culture, were aimed at strengthening the positive image of the party and solving specific problems of the population. Within the framework of party tasks and projects initiated by the party Chairman, Elbasy N. A. Nazarbayev, a school of entrepreneurship and a business incubator have been opened in KarIU, which are aimed at supporting innovative projects of the city’s youth. Following the tasks of the Nur Otan party to support older people, the Silver University project was opened for the first time. New relevant specialties have been opened, and the Academic mobility program is in effect.

An important place is occupied by the implementation of social projects of the party. As part of initiatives to develop IT technologies, more than 100 teachers of the region’s schools were trained in the regional center of the CISCO Network Academy, opened on the basis of the University.

As part of the project «Proactive youth policy», the University operates the «Youth cultural and leisure center»« Zhastar Otanga», which has become a center for the consolidation of active youth, and also helps to attract new supporters of the party among young people. On the basis of the center, KVN teams, volunteers, and creative interest groups conduct their activities. And this is not a complete list of all the events held.

In General, the participants of the party meeting unanimously decided to recognize the work of the primary party organization «Temirtau Palace of culture» as satisfactory. They recommended taking measures to strengthen the quality of the party’s membership, while paying special attention to the involvement of citizens with an active life position in the party’s ranks.

On the second issue, Deputy Chairman of the PPO Karipbaeva Aizhan Raskeldinovna made a proposal to elect delegates from the primary party organization “Temirtau Palace of culture” to participate in the city conference of the Temirtau city branch of the Nur Otan party.

At the end of the meeting, Zhautikov Bakhyt Akhatovich thanked those present for their active and fruitful work and wished all party members further success.

As part of the methodological week of the faculty of Economics and construction, on November 2, 2020, Ph.D., Professor Z. S. Gelmanova held a seminar for teaching staff «Formation of information and communication competence of University teaching staff». The following recommendations were made based on the results of the workshop:

1. Educational programs should include the discipline «Bibliography of digital education»;
2. the University needs to develop regulatory documents that are local (University) in nature on issues of borrowing and plagiarism. In this document, it is necessary to specify the permissible limits of borrowing for all specialties, and differentially;
3. Implementation of the standard of professional development of teaching staff in the field of ICT competencies, in accordance with the recommendations of UNESCO at Karaganda industrial University, which will allow the University to advance to international positions, knowing their idea. The result of implementing the professional development standard is the development of educational strategies based on new information knowledge.

As part of the methodological week of the faculty of Economics and construction, on November 3, 2020, a quiz «On the steps of business» was held on the topic «Fundamentals of accounting», which is professionally oriented in nature, contributes to the assimilation of knowledge and the formation of professional competencies.

The quiz was conducted by senior lecturer of the Department of Economics and business of the faculty of Economics and construction Latypova M. a together with the groups dAA-17, dAA-18, dAA-18r.

The purpose of the quiz was to test knowledge on the subject of basic accounting, and to promote the development of attention, memory and logical thinking.

The game consists of several stages, which are conditionally divided into knowledge of the theoretical and practical material of the discipline.

During the game, students applied their accumulated knowledge, demonstrated their ability to analyze, systematize data, and make generalizations and conclusions in search of answers to the questions posed.

Playing a certain situation, students felt their strength and capabilities, which in their future professional activities will allow them to make responsible decisions independently.

At the end of the quiz, the results were summed up, taking into account the number of correct answers and points scored. The team with the highest number of points became the winner.

As part of the traditional methodological week, the faculty has planned open lessons for teachers of departments, a training seminar. The first event of the week was an open lesson «Protection of course projects in online mode», which was conducted by the teacher of the Department of «Construction» Aigerim Kasenova. Participants of the online lesson were students of the C-18rk group

The purpose of the lesson: organization of the final lesson on the control and correction of competencies obtained in the course of theoretical training.

During the open lesson, students of the group defended their course projects that they completed during distance learning.

The open lesson was conducted in a playful way, and the defense was held in front of members of a specially created Commission of experts. The role of experts (the head and specialist of the construction organization) was played by students of the C-17k group Serikbay Azamat and Berikbay Ruslan, who very strictly and even harshly accepted the projects of students.
