As part of the action plan to promote the values of Independent Kazakhstan, as well as in connection with the celebration of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, on November 13, 2020, the curator of the student academic groups EPO-19 and EPO-19c of the faculty of Energy, transport and management systems of Karaganda industrial University Natalia Asabina, through Zoom, organized and conducted a curatorial hour with viewing the documentary “Lifelines” of the cycle “Seven facets of independence”.

The role of the First President of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev in the development of our country is very great. Thanks to the constructive policy and wisdom of the Nation had been taken proper and modern solutions. The path of our sovereign country was not easy. However, the main decisions aimed at developing the country, improving the condition of every citizen, preserving social harmony, inter-ethnic and inter-confessional unity, marked the maturity of our state.

It was noted that the documentary “Lifelines” of the “Seven facets of independence” cycle tells about the expansion of the international transit potential of the Republic, the implementation of the “Nurly Zhol” program in conjunction with the “One belt, one road” initiative.

After watching the film, there was a small discussion about the content of the film, the contribution of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the process of independence of our country, and what modern Kazakhstan has achieved.

A series of documentaries “Seven facets of Independence” was produced by the TV channel “Astana”. The films are based on seven challenges voiced by the first President-Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev at the international conference “30 years of leadership” in June 2019.

In all the films, special attention is paid to the disclosure of the fundamental role of Elbasy in the ongoing reforms, the disclosure of previously unknown facts and interesting details of their practical implementation.

The 4th year student of the faculty of «Metallurgy and mechanical engineering» of the academic group MFT-17 Eleftheriadi Savely Alexandrovich became the winner of the scholarship competition of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N. Nazarbayev.

In order to win the annual Republican competition for student scholarships of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, students of colleges and universities of our country pass a serious competitive selection. They need to have the highest academic performance indicators, enjoy authority among students and teachers, and actively participate in the social, research and practical activities of the educational institution. The fellows confirm their achievements with transcripts with a high GPA score for two years of study, certificates, certificates, diplomas, the presence of scientific papers and presentations at conferences and symposiums. This scholarship is not only an encouragement of high academic performance, but also a strong motivation for even greater success and achievements.

Studying all these years with excellent marks and taking an active part in the scientific and creative life of his native university, the future bachelor of engineering and technology in the specialty «Technology of materials processing by pressure» Savely Eleftheriadi applied for a scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year, along with 354 others representatives of Kazakhstani universities of the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktobe, Karaganda, Kaskelen, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Semey, Taldykorgan, Taraz, Turkestan, Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Following the results of two rounds, he entered the total number of 80 winners. They will be awarded certificates of fellows, a monthly stipend in the amount of 40,000 tenge was determined and the status – «Scholarship holder of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation-2020»

This competition was held for the tenth time. During this time, 719 people have become the Foundation’s fellows.

Note that the competition is held in two stages. In the first round, the educational institution selects the best students in the order established by it to participate in the republican competition. Further, the applications of the applicants go to the competition committee of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation, where the winners are actually selected. The Foundation scholarship is established for one academic year, and its holders can apply for other incentives generally established by the state for successful studies.

Participation in this year’s international competition was held online under the motto «Connection Glory Future». 109 teams, 327 students from 39 regions and countries of the world competed in knowledge of cloud and network technologies, as well as innovations. The team has been preparing for the Olympics for two years. Nurhat Gabdullayev, a trainer, a practicing expert on network technologies of the Kazakh Academy of Infocommunications, and a holder of the international certificate of Cisco ССIE, was a direct mentor. The students participated in various regional Olympiads, all of them prize-winners of the annual international Olympiad on network technologies Cisco Stars-2019 and Cisco Stars-2020, held by the multinational American company Cisco.

For the contribution of youth to the development of the volunteer movement within the framework of the project «Social student voucher», dedicated to the International Volunteer Day, students-volunteers of the Karaganda Industrial University Khaitova Navruza Sayfullaevna, Ibraeva Amina Aitzhanovna and Ibraeva Adina Aitzhanovna were awarded letters of thanks from the Financial Center JSC of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Note that, within the framework of the Year of the Volunteer in Kazakhstan, special attention is paid to the social activity of youth. The main task is to create conditions for the widest possible involvement of our young citizens in social activities and, of course, ensuring their successful socialization and integration into society. To solve this problem, the republican project «Social student loan» was developed, the concept of which is based on attracting student youth to engage in socially oriented activities.

Within the framework of the «Social Student Loan» project, university students can receive monetary rewards from the state and transfer academic loans for the results of socially useful work Students are provided with the following types of social student loans: credit for 20 thousand tenge for 20 hours of activity; credit for 50 thousand tenge for 50 hours of activity. Students as volunteers can provide assistance in orphanages, nursing homes, educational and other social institutions. Undoubtedly, the Year of Volunteering gives a new round to the development of the volunteer movement in our country. This is a great victory for all those who have been working in various areas of volunteering for many years. Providing assistance to neighbors and those in need has been a distinctive feature of our national culture from time immemorial. It is gratifying that hundreds of social projects are being implemented in this direction in Kazakhstan. Support for the volunteer movement at the state level is an impetus for new volunteer initiatives.
