The elections of the president of the KarIU Student Parliament are coming very soon, and the fate of the entire student government of our university is in your hands. After all, it depends on your choice in which direction student life will develop in our educational institution!
The collection of applications for participation in the elections for the post of President of the KarIU Student Parliament is open!
• The mission of the Student Parliament is to solve educational and social problems of students, the formation of self-government skills.
• The main task of the Student Parliament is to promptly contribute to solving the problems of KarIU students. In its work, the Student Parliament enjoys the support of the University leadership.
Students of 2-3 courses who have positive grades in the studied disciplines, decent behavior, and take an active public position in the life of the university can run for the post of President of the Student Parliament of the KarIU.
To nominate your candidacy, you need to submit by e-mail before October 30 (inclusive) 2021 ninulichik@mail.ru the following information is in two languages (Kazakh, Russian)
• A business card for publication in social networks. Brief information (full name, photo, course and faculty);
• The developed program of activities of the Student Parliament for the academic year (what would you like to do/change at the university as president of the Student Parliament and/or a project that you would like to implement at the university?);(1 page)
• Video message (no more than 1 minute)
Voting in the election of the President of the Student Parliament will take place on November 8-12. The results of the selection will be announced on November 15.

From October 10 to 13, 2021, a Kazakh-American training seminar «Internationalization of higher education: effective partnership of universities of Kazakhstan and the USA» was held on the basis of the NAO «Toraigyrov University» in Pavlodar. The seminar was attended by more than 20 representatives of universities across Kazakhstan, including a representative of the Department of Science and Innovation of the Non-profit limited company «Karaganda Industrial University» Dilara Yerezhepova. The training seminar was aimed at studying trends in the intern ationalization of higher education in the USA and Kazakhstan, partnership implementation strategies, the formation of communication skills and the study of the experience of cooperation with partners in the USA. Among the speakers were the Attache for Culture and Education of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan Amber Ora, Deputy Director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Banu Narbekova, Rector of Toraigyrov University Yerkin Sadykov. During the seminar, experts from Colorado and Pacific University Susan Stewart and Ronald Wiley conducted a training «Culture of Dialogue» aimed at solving problems and maximizing the opportunities arising from the interaction of two or more cultures. In addition, the training «Action Plan for the implementation of Partnership proposals» was held, and exchange programs funded by the USA government were presented.

The Spartakiad Freshman -2021. The Spartakiad was held in 9 sports. Within two weeks, the freshmen found out who was stronger. Four teams participated:
Faculty of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering,
Faculty of Energy, Transport and Control Systems,
Faculty of Economics and Construction and the Technical and Economic College team.

On the last day there was a sports and entertainment relay race, which was held at a very high emotional level.
According to the results of all days of the competition , the places were distributed as follows:
🥇 1st place- Faculty of Energy, Transport and Control Systems,
🥈 2nd place – Faculty of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering,
🥉 3rd place- Technical and Economic College
In individual competitions , the first places were taken :

♟️Checkers girls – Kydyr Nazerke
🔴Togyz-kumalak – Kydyr Nazerke
The best students were included in the university team to participate in city and regional competitions.

As part of the execution of the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Science, the university is stepping up work to attract foreign students. For this purpose, on October 8, a delegation of our university headed by Professor Umirbek Umbetov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, left for the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Representatives of the university held meetings in the cities of Zaravshan, Tamdy, Ushkuduk, Kelmek with graduates, the parent community and school teachers. During the meetings, explanatory work was carried out on the advantages and achievements of our university. The university has created the necessary conditions for the organization of the educational process, social and living conditions have been improved, and measures are being taken to develop the personality of students.
Studying at our university is attractive for many foreign citizens. To date, more than 150 foreign students study at our university, this year more than 60 graduates of schools in Uzbekistan have become students.
Work in this direction will continue.

World Student Day!
World Students’ Day is a great opportunity to pay tribute to students all over the world. It was first celebrated in 2010. The UN has established this day in honor of the “great scientist” Abdul Kalam. He was born on October 15, 1931 and grew up in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. His favorite occupation was teaching, and he wanted the world to remember him as a teacher.
