A guest lecture for students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies was held at Karaganda Industrial University
On October 1, 2021, Karaganda Industrial University hosted the first guest lecture in the new academic year for students of the educational programs “Artificial Intelligence Technologies” and “Software Engineering”.
The head of the Department of digitalization of economic Sectors of the State Institution “Department of Informatization, Provision of Public Services and Archives of the Karaganda region” Zhumakhanov Meirzhan Medeubayevich addressed the students of KarIU with a lecture.
During the meeting, students and teaching staff of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies learned about the activities of management and the development of digitalization of healthcare, education, housing and communal services, transport, agriculture, construction, social sphere in Kazakhstan in general and in the Karaganda region in particular.
The speaker told the audience about the work of the Open City portal, the Integration Bus platform, the Terricon Valley project, the possibilities of the Unified Coordination Center of the Karaganda region Senim109, arousing keen interest in the topic under discussion among students and teachers.
50 students and teachers took part in the guest lecture.
The university management has reached a preliminary agreement on holding such meetings of students and teachers with specialists in the IT field on an ongoing basis.
