Participation in this year’s international competition was held online under the motto «Connection Glory Future». 109 teams, 327 students from 39 regions and countries of the world competed in knowledge of cloud and network technologies, as well as innovations. The team has been preparing for the Olympics for two years. Nurhat Gabdullayev, a trainer, a practicing expert on network technologies of the Kazakh Academy of Infocommunications, and a holder of the international certificate of Cisco ССIE, was a direct mentor. The students participated in various regional Olympiads, all of them prize-winners of the annual international Olympiad on network technologies Cisco Stars-2019 and Cisco Stars-2020, held by the multinational American company Cisco.

The main task is to create conditions for the widest possible involvement of our young citizens in social activities and, of course, ensuring their successful socialization and integration into society. To solve this problem, the republican project «Social student loan» was developed, the concept of which is based on attracting student youth to engage in socially oriented activities.

Within the framework of the «Social Student Loan» project, university students can receive monetary rewards from the state and transfer academic loans for the results of socially useful work Students are provided with the following types of social student loans: credit for 20 thousand tenge for 20 hours of activity; credit for 50 thousand tenge for 50 hours of activity. Students as volunteers can provide assistance in orphanages, nursing homes, educational and other social institutions. Undoubtedly, the Year of Volunteering gives a new round to the development of the volunteer movement in our country. This is a great victory for all those who have been working in various areas of volunteering for many years. Providing assistance to neighbors and those in need has been a distinctive feature of our national culture from time immemorial. It is gratifying that hundreds of social projects are being implemented in this direction in Kazakhstan. Support for the volunteer movement at the state level is an impetus for new volunteer initiatives.

The development of educational technologies and scientific research in Karaganda industrial University that meet the modern requirements of the scientific and educational process dictates the timely need to pay special attention to the modernization and development of material and technical equipment of departments and laboratories of the University.

Currently, our University has a modern material and technical base, which is annually updated and updated with new educational and scientific equipment, computer equipment and other basic means, in accordance with the requirements of educational standards.

At the beginning of the current academic year, the material and technical base of the Department of “energy” of our University was replenished. The following new stands were purchased, such as:

• The power Supply of the smart home. The stand is an interactive led-dynamic panel with separate light indication. The front part of the stand provides comprehensive information on the following sections:
• application of solar energy;
• use of wind power, running water;
• use of a generator with an internal combustion engine.

Highly sensitive sensors are integrated into the design of the training equipment to control the operation of the equipment using the interactive influence of receiving and transmitting devices. The stand is equipped with the “Virtual teacher” function, which tells about the main features and principles of smart home power supply.

2) Interactive light-dynamic stand “Schematic diagram of a wind power plant”. The electrified stand “Concept diagram of a wind power plant” is a full-color light-dynamic panel that displays information about the concept diagram of a wind power plant. High-sensitivity sensors are integrated into the design of the training equipment to control the stand using interactive effects of receiving and transmitting devices. There are two modes of working with the stand: “Training” and “Control”.

In the “Training” mode, the control panel located at the bottom of the stand allows you to select one of the elements using the control element, the light indicator highlights this position, and the “Virtual teacher” software tells you about the selected element. In the “Control” mode, the control program code generates a random version of the question. If the answer is selected correctly (incorrectly), the led indicator corresponding to the accepted standards will light up.

The volume of the Virtual teacher is changed by a touch control located on the front side of the stand.
