On October 28, 2019, the university held an open event dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the great poet, novelist, publicist and playwright, a true exponent of people’s thoughts, defender of the interests of the people  of the Kazakh auls Beymbet Zharmagambetovich Maylin.

In 2019 marks exactly 125 years since the birth of the famous writer. Beimbet Maylin is a writer who invested a lot in the birth and formation of Kazakh literature, who made a huge contribution to the dawn of such genres as prose, poetry and drama, with all his heart and soul he sang his native village, native people and land. He also contributed to the formation and development of Kazakh journalism, together with Mukhamedzhan Seralin laid the foundations of the newspaper “Auyl”.

During the event, Deputy Dean of the faculty “metallurgy and mechanical engineering” Shayakhmetova G.A presented a slide presentation that highlighted the life and career of a man of versatile talent, because Beimbet Maylin created original works of almost all genres of literature, which remain relevant today.

To expand knowledge of works of the classic of the Kazakh literature, students read excerpts from prose and poems of B. Maylin. The children noted the amazing creative work of Beimbet Maylin, who published 55 books in the period 1923-1937.

Having lived only 43 years, he managed to write several novels, 10 novels, 15 poems, many poems, essays, feuilletons, 20 plays, librettos and scripts. Mailin’s work is a great literary school for the younger generation.

The KVN team of Karaganda state industrial University “Gianluigi Buffon” on October 26, 2019 successfully performed at the festival of the Omsk KVN League and won the little Fox in the bronze, thereby paving the way to the season Of the highest Omsk KVN League, which was attended by 19 teams from Russia and Kazakhstan.

The festival is a kind of business card, a compilation of the very best that a team can demonstrate to get into the season. It turned out to perform, of course, many, but not all….

For participation in the festival, each team receives certificates, but the jury still allocates the best, since the symbol of the Omsk KVN is a Fox, the awards to the teams-Foxes and foxes In bronze, silver and gold at the end of the festival were distributed as follows:

Fox in gold –“ Agar”;

Fox in silver — «Omskvichi»;

In the bronze Fox — “BB”;

Fox in gold — “Bad guys”;

Fox in silver – “Fathers and children”;

The Fox in bronze is a very good indicator for our team, if they adequately pass the entire season of the Omsk Higher League, they will again have the opportunity to play in Sochi!!!

On October 24, 2019, students of Karaganda state industrial University took an active part in a large-scale youth flash mob action # NO! TERRORISM! NO! EXTREMISM

This youth action was carried out jointly with the Temirtau youth club within the framework of the action plan to combat corruption, as well as the action plan to combat religious extremism and terrorism.

The event was held in the Central square of our University, where citizens were informed about the main manifestations of extremism on the Internet and about the procedure for action in case of terrorist and extremist manifestations.

The participants of the flash mob action were United in the opinion that in order to successfully confront the threat of the spread of extremism and terrorism, it is necessary to unite all sensible members of society, everyone who cares about peace and hates violence.
