October 29, 2019 in Karaganda state industrial University held an Open regional debate tournament “Kairat pen Akyl Zhol Tabar”. Tournament organizers: Department of educational work and youth policy of KSIU, Trade Union Committee of KSIU, debate club “Abadan”.

Purpose: development and support of the debates in the student movement.

Tasks of the tournament:

– to develop the debate movement at the regional level;

– to form an active civil position among young people;

– theoretically and practically prepare active students for social and political work.

The tournament was attended by 28 teams from all universities of Karaganda region.

The following winners were determined at the end of the tournament:

The finalists are: Nazarov Syindik (KSU), Shokan Kamila (KSU), Nygmetova ASEM (KSU), Satkali Ayzat (KSU), Tarabaeva Amine (KSU), Nabikhan Bota (KSU).

The winners of the debate tournament and the best speakers were awarded diplomas and gift certificates, and their leaders were awarded letters of thanks for preparing students for the debate tournament. All participants were awarded certificates.

On October 29, 2019, as part of the implementation of the plan for the program “Ruhani zhangyru”, an open curatorial hour on socio-political issues “Kazakhstan’s model of the third modernization: a look into the future” on the theme “the Impact of education on the formation of personality” was held.

The curatorial hour was held by the teacher of the Department of “Management and business” of the faculty of Economics and construction Latypova M. A together with the groups UIA-16, UIA-17, UIA-18, MO-17, MO-16, e-17.

The purpose of the curatorial open hour is to develop critical thinking and understanding of modern socio-political problems affecting the successful modernization of public consciousness of a new type.

During the curatorial hour, students were introduced to the different directions of the content of education, which at all times has a great influence on the dominant culture of the nation.

Considering the current stage of improving education and its impact on the development of personality, students actively discussed and exchanged views on the following questions: how much does higher education affect a person? Do I need to strive for higher education? What is more important in today’s modern society knowledge or skill? What impact does online education have on a person and will it eventually replace universities?

In conclusion, the students expressed a generalized opinion: “Education contributes to the preservation of values accumulated by mankind, and the emergence of new and this relationship will serve as a success of the new modernization of public consciousness of a new type.”

From 24 to 27 October 2019, doctoral students of Karaganda state industrial university took part in the IV Asian student forum “Tajikistan-Asia-2019”, held under the auspices Of the Association of Asian universities on the basis of the Tajik national university of Dushanbe.

The forum was organized by the Association of Asian universities (http://www.aauniv.org), Tajik national university, Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe (http://www.tnu.tj) and Altai state university, Barnaul, Russian Federation (http://www.asu.ru).

The forum was aimed at promoting the development of scientific, educational and cultural cooperation among young people of the Asian region; creating conditions for professional, social and creative self-realization of students of Asian countries; supporting initiatives aimed at the implementation of international scientific, educational, cultural, educational and sports projects; development of network interaction between universities of Asian countries, including within the framework of associations of universities, such as the Association of Asian universities.

The IV Asian student forum was attended by students, postgraduates, doctoral students, students and other representatives of the University communities of the leading universities of the Eurasian States: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Tajikistan, and other countries.

The main directions of the forum: education without borders; scientific breakthrough; intercultural dialogue; leader of the 21st century; social design in the youth environment. All presented projects were aimed at the development of international youth cooperation Of the Association of Asian universities.

Within the framework of the forum, the organizers prepared a cultural and creative program, an exhibition of objects of historical and cultural heritage of the Tajik people, a rich tour of the main attractions of Dushanbe.

At the end of the forum, the organizers were awarded diplomas for active participation and prizes to all participants.

The forum became a platform not only for educational and socially significant projects, but also brought together all representatives of Asian countries, promoted intercultural dialogue and the development of international cooperation of universities.

In Karaganda state industrial university in the framework of training seminars on the basics of entrepreneurship for students of  3rd   and 4th  courses on October 14 and 19, 2019, guest lectures were held with the involvement of successful entrepreneurs of the city Kovaleva Zulfiya Iskhakovna-Director of LLP “WORLD CONSULTING GROUP” and Hegai Sergey Yurievich-individual entrepreneur.

Entrepreneurs shared their experience in the field of business development, held a conversation with students on marketing, sales techniques to attract and retain customers, as well as the use of modern information platforms in their professional activities. Students who are now faced with the task of developing their business project, it was valuable to listen to what difficulties an entrepreneur may face in the course of organizing his own business. Two more similar meetings of students with businessmen of the city are planned for October 31, 2019.

On October 28, 2019, Karaganda state industrial university hosted an evening of memory dedicated to the 150^th  anniversary of the musician-ethnographer, people’s artist of Kazakhstan Alexander Zataevich. The evening of memory was organized by the Department “Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages”.

The event was held within the framework of the special project ” Great names of the great steppe “of the program”rukhani zhangyru ” and was aimed at popularization of the Kazakh culture, history, philosophy, values of the Kazakh people among the ethnic groups living in the great Kazakh steppe.

The guests of the evening were researchers of the historical and cultural center of the first President of Kazakhstan Kurmanshady Orazymbetov and Kuanysh Tynybekuly, who introduced students to the creative heritage of the great musician.

Alexander Zatayevich was born in 1869 in the Orel region (Russia). In 1886 he graduated from the military gymnasium in Orel. In 1896 he met the composer Rachmaninoff S. V., who showed interest in the plays of A. Zataevich and contributed to their publication. Rachmaninoff also dedicated the play “Six musical moments”to Alexander Zataevich. In 1904-1915, Alexander Zataevich served in Warsaw, where he also engaged in musical and social activities. He was a music critic for the Warsaw Conservatory newspaper.

Basically, his creative activity was expressed in the collection, recording and systematization of Kazakh folk music. He recorded more than 2300 works of musical folklore of Kazakhstan. Collections of A. Zataevich “1000 songs of the Kazakh people” and “500 Kazakh kuys and songs” are an anthology of Kazakh musical folklore from ancient times to the 1930s.

For the first time in the history of Kazakhstan A. Zataevich characterized a number of outstanding Kazakh folk composers, among them: Abay Kunanbayev, Kurmangazy Sagyrbayev, Birzhan Kozhamgulov, Zhayau Musa Baizhanov, Dauletkerei, Baluan Sholak, Mukhit, ybyray and some biographical information about them was given.

Alexander Zatayevich is one of the founders of the Kazakh professional piano music. Author of music collections “Kazakh songs in the form of miniatures for piano”, “Songs of Kazakh Tatars”, “Songs of Kazakhstan”, “250 Kyrgyz instrumental pieces and tunes”, “Songs of different peoples”, “Kyrgyz instrumental pieces and tunes”. He was  the first to whom the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1923 awarded the title “people’s artist of the Kazakh Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic”.

In memory of the life and work of Zataevich A.V. in Almaty, a memorial plaque is installed and one of the streets is named after him.

During the event, a report was made and a documentary film about the life and work of the composer Alexander Zataevich was viewed.
