Post archive:Select category: All posts as one stream: goto → IN KSIU STARTED XII OF THE PRESIDENTIAL OLYMPIADIn Karaganda state industrial university from 12 to 15 November 2019, the annual XI I Presidential Olympiad in subjects of natural and mathematical cycle among students of 11th grades of schools of our country, organized by the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Traditionally, over the past 10 years, this Olympiad is held in our university, the Alma-mater of the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. On November 12, the opening ceremony of the Olympiad was held, which was attended by honored guests-associates of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main idea of the Olympiad, held on the personal behalf of the Head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev, is the education of patriotic spirit, strong, intellectual, highly educated Kazakh schoolchildren, in-depth study of natural and mathematical Sciences. The organizer of the Olympiad is the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn” (Director Kirabaeva Sholpan Akashevna). Goals and objectives of the Presidential Olympiad: 1) creation of optimal conditions for identification of gifted students in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology among students of secondary education, their further intellectual development and professional orientation; 2) increase of interest of pupils to studying of subjects of the natural-mathematical direction, deepening of theoretical knowledge and abilities; 3) promoting self-realization and self-development of the individual. Recall that the Presidential Olympiad is held annually in three stages: First stage-regional – 25 September 2019; In total, there are 2255 graduates from 1326 schools (447 specialized, 879 rural schools) took part in the regional stage and 1368 of them are from Kazakh schools According to the results of the regional stage, 399 students from 267 secondary schools (168 specialized, 99 rural schools) were admitted to the second (qualifying) stage. The third (final) stage-Republican from November 12, 2019. 173 graduates scored the highest number of points and were admitted to participate in the final stage of the Presidential Olympiad. Each participant of the Presidential Olympiad at all stages performs tasks in four subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. All finalists of the Presidential Olympiad will receive certificates of participation, and the winners will be awarded with diplomas of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The press service of KSIU STUDENTS OF KSIU TOOK PART IN AN OPEN LESSON ON “THE BEST PROFESSION”.On November 5, 2019 within methodical week of faculties of KSIU and schools of Temirtau by teachers of Department “processing of metals by pressure” PhD, associate Professor Panin E. A. and the senior teacher Ibraeva A. E. open occupation on a subject “the best profession” with participation of students of 3-4 courses was carried out. The purpose of the open class was to provide career guidance to students in the process of choosing the scope of future professional activity. The lesson was held in the form of a team game, where students of groups TOMD-17 and TOMD-16K were divided into two teams. During the event, both teams presented their business cards, and competed in “their game”, answering questions of varying complexity in the specialty “technology of metal processing by pressure”. Summing up the event, it was noted that the best profession is one that brings material and moral satisfaction. It’s good when you do what you love, get a decent salary and feel confident in the future.

On November 11, 2019, a seminar was organized at KSIU with the participation of representatives of the consumer protection society of the Karaganda region on the topic “Improving the legal literacy of the population, in terms of knowledge of consumer rights when receiving services and goods.” The meeting was attended by the lawyer, chairman of the Consumer Rights Protection Society Zhaslan Bolatovich Aymagambetov, who told the participants of the event possible ways out of the situation on the fact of receiving poor-quality services and goods, explained the norms of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding consumer protection, about many fraudulent cases, which carry out unreliable organizations and enterprises in relation to consumers and gave their contact numbers to which you can freely report on the fact s violations of the rights of consumers and get legal legal advice. In addition, during the event, a specialist from the public association Trust, Nupinova Ainur Manapovna, spoke about the facts of involving minors and youth in the sale of synthetic drugs, as well as about possible ways of cheating on the part of distributors of synthetic drugs that deceive young people into as distributors (dealers) to the addressees. Ainur Manapovna urged students to take an active part in the campaign to paint over and destroy the advertising of synthetic drug addresses, which often began to appear on residential buildings in the city of Temirtau, as the situation in our city on the distribution of drugs is more acute. She warned about possible methods of involving children in the criminal community and criminal penalties for the distribution of narcotic drugs, and also urged students to have a healthy lifestyle. Then, a conversation took place with the doctor of the Temirtau HIV / AIDS Prevention Center, Starozhukova Elena Borisovna, who spoke about the ways of transmitting HIV infection, as well as forms of protection against HIV. She announced the statistical situation on HIV / AIDS incidence in our city, distributed information leaflets with the contacts of the city AIDS center, for which you can get qualified advice on HIV / AIDS infection. In general, the meeting was preventive in nature, had a great positive resonance among the participants in the event. Students actively asked questions and received detailed, comprehensive answers to them.
