THE FIRST MEETING OF THE UNIVERSITY’S SUPERVISORY BOARD WAS HELD IN KSIU
On January 8, 2020, the first meeting of the Supervisory Board in 2020 was held at the Karaganda state industrial university.
According to the regulation, the Supervisory Board is a management body of a state enterprise with the right to conduct business on issues established by Law within its competence. The meeting of the Supervisory Board is held at least once a quarter, and considers issues in accordance with the meeting plan.
The Council consists of: Yerzhan Tursynkhanovich Irgebayev-deputy director of the department of higher and postgraduate education of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Yermek Bakhytovich Kuzenbaev-acting chairman of the Board of NAO “holding ” Kasipkor”; Bakhyt Akhatovich Zhautikov-rector of Karaganda state industrial university; Didar Nurkenovich Smagulov-director of the national testing center; Musin Sanat Kabidenovich-director of the department for control in the field of education of the Karaganda region; Ashim Yesentai Mukataevich-head of the department of education of the city of Temirtau; Lomakin Alexey Borisovich-secretary of the Temirtau city maslikhat.
Members of the Board approved the work plan of the Supervisory Board for 2020, and heard a report on the implementation of the collective agreement of the KSIU. The issue of awarding vacant educational grants released in the process of obtaining higher education at the Karaganda state industrial university is considered.
Following the results of the work of the Supervisory Board, it was decided to recommend that the ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan award vacant educational grants to applicants selected on a competitive basis based on the results of the summer and winter sessions for a state educational grant. For the period of June-December 2019, the university has 12 vacant grants in the context of specialties, courses and forms of training of KSIU, released in the process of obtaining higher and postgraduate education.
Following the meeting, the members of the Supervisory Board gave their recommendations for further successful and fruitful work of the university.
