December 1 in the calendar of significant dates is the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This holiday is celebrated by all citizens of our country in the atmosphere of General discussion of the Address of the Head of state and the strategy of the new economic policy “Nurly Zhol – the way to the future!”.

For the teaching staff, the student community of Karaganda state industrial University, the day of the President of Kazakhstan is a particularly important holiday, because Nursultan Nazarbayev received the basics of the difficult profession of Metallurgist within the walls of our University. To work and study at the University of the First President is not only honorable, but also very responsible.Meetings, meetings of departments, curatorial hours are held at all faculties, in study groups.

On November 21, the Museum of history of KSU hosted a meeting of students with a classmate Nursultan Abishevich – Omashev Kuanysh Omashevich, organized with the participation of the leaders of the youth wing “Zhasotan” of Karaganda region and our University.  The very atmosphere of the Museum, the Central part of which is the exhibition ” Our President! Our Leader! Our graduate!”, disposed to live, informal, interested conversation about years of students, labor achievements, big public activity of N. A. Nazarbayev.

Omashev K. O. shared his memories with the students, how hard it was given the first Kazakh metal, how friendship was formed, passed the test of time, what they dream about, who were lucky enough to live, study, work next to N. A. Nazarbayev. And the dream of all one – a peaceful sky, stability and harmony of all peoples – the key to the well – being and prosperity of our country under the leadership of a recognized Leader-N. A. Nazarbayev.
