On behalf of the Karaganda regional branch of the Nur Otan party, acting  Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Karaganda Industrial University Zhautikov Bakhyt Akhatovich presented a letter of gratitude from the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N.A.  Nazarbayev to the executive director of Arcelor Mittal Temirtau JSC Basin V.B.

Active members of the party who took part in the election campaign and clarification of the party’s program were awarded with letters of thanks.  A lot of work has been done during the election campaign: many events and meetings with voters have been organized.  Vadim Borisovich Basin did a lot of explanatory work at Arcelor Mittal Temirtau JSC, in the city and region, held personal meetings with voters in online and offline formats.

It is worth noting that Arcelor Mittal Temirtau JSC and Karaganda Industrial University are long-standing strategic partners: the metallurgical enterprise is the main base for the practice and employment of students, in addition, professors and scientists of our university conduct scientific research that allows us to modernize the production process at the plant.

Metallurgy is a core business of our university.  KarIU, Alma Mater of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy N.A.  Nazarbayev, was and remains a forge of professional and competitive personnel for the mining and metallurgical industry of the country.

Scientists of Karaganda Industrial University are actively engaged in scientific activities together with their foreign colleagues. In particular, together with scientists of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, another patent is being prepared in the metallurgical field.

Earlier, together with scientists of Ukraine, an international patent for a utility model “Method for pressing pipes made of hard-to-form metals” was obtained, the patent holders of which are the Karaganda Industrial University (KIU) and the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (NMetAU).

It is worth noting that the scientific and laboratory base of our university allows us to conduct research in many areas. KarIU is the only university in Kazakhstan that has a pilot industrial site with operating metallurgical furnaces. On the basis of the university, the Republican subject Student Olympiad is held annually in the specialties “Metallurgy” and “Technology of materials processing by pressure”.

At Toraigyrov University (Pavlodar), within the framework of the development of scientific, methodological and educational activities of the Association of Departments of the ANC «Shagyrak», a Republican online webinar with international participation on the topic «Commercialization of scientific developments and participation of the departments of the ANC and the Association in the implementation of grant scientific applied projects». The conference was organized by the Association of the Chairs of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan «Shakhyrak» and Toraigyrov University. Head of the Department of the ANC of the Karaganda Industrial University Zhanabergenova Dinara Kenesovna took an active part in this event.

The moderators of the webinar were the head of the department of the ANC Toraigyrov University, doctor of historical sciences, professor Saule Mamytova and the head of the department of the ANC ENU. L.N. Gumilyov, Chairman of the «Association of Departments of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan» Shakhyrak , Doctor of Political Sciences, Academician of the MAIN Natalia Kalashnikova. The webinar was held at the scientific base of this university, where issues in the field of ethno-entrepreneurship, mediation and ethnovolunteering were considered. They also discussed the experience of commercialization in the humanities.

More than 100 university employees from different cities, invited foreign experts and heads of research institutes and centers of the republic, as well as young scientists took part in the scientific and methodological online webinar. In the future, colleagues from Bulgaria proposed to develop the theme of Eurasianism in a scientific and educational context and to continue cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

In January 2021, the university held a competition for the “Best Employee of the Month”. According to the results of the competition, the commission selected the best employees of the university, according to the submissions for the participants in the competition.

For the best employees of the month at the university, an order was issued by the acting Chairman of the Board-Rector for rewarding with the “Rector’s Certificate”, followed by posting photos of employees on the university website.

The winners are:

– Petrovskaya Asiya Stanislavovna – Senior Lecturer of the Department of E&B;

– Abdulov Alexander Salimovich – head of the technical support sector.

One of the priority areas of the ERASMUS+ program is the Master’s program Erasmus Mundus. Erasmus Mundus-scholarships for studying in Europe – a unique opportunity to get a master’s degree. This is a program of mobility and cooperation between our country and the member states of the European Union. Program:

• Supports the development of high-quality Master’s programs (Erasmus Mundus Master’s programs), each of which is implemented jointly by a consortium of European universities for students from all over the world;

• Provides prestigious scholarships (grants) for students of any country in the world to study in a master’s program at European universities.

Partners of CarIU University of Paris-Saclay (France) together with the University of Poznan (Poland), the University of Porto (Portugal) and the University of Genoa (Italy) offer to participate in the master’s program Erasmus Mundus SERP +.

Applications for participation for 2021-2023 are open until February 15 for Erasmus Mundus scholarships and until June 15 for self-funded students and are posted on the website at www.master-serp.eu.

About 20 Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for both European and non-European students (http://www.master-serp.eu/apply/scholarships.php).

The training is conducted in English and is aimed at teaching students in such areas as renewable energy sources, green chemistry, nanoscience, nanomedicine, innovative materials, and radiation applications. The summer school on skills Transfer is also part of the training to develop students ‘ entrepreneurial skills, as well as a six-month internship.
