As part of the celebration of the Day of the Unity of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, on April 25 this year, the physical culture section of the IK&SGD Department of the Karaganda Industrial University held a personal table tennis championship.

Both university students and students of the TEK college at KarIU took part in the competition.

The meetings consisted of three parties. In the course of a stubborn struggle, the places were distributed as follows:

– among girls the first place was taken by Tolegen Akerke (station group TPP-19), second place – Zhienbekova Ayman (station group TPP-20 -1k) and third place – Sayat Moldir (station group TPP-20-4k ).

– among the young men in the course of a stubborn struggle, the places were distributed as follows: first place – Seriknur Sezimnur (senior group EPO-19k), second place – Tynyshtykov Mynzhasar (senior group FCMP-18k), third place – Tansykbai Nurdaulet (column TPP-19k).

Summing up the results of the competition, the participants noted that table tennis is an exciting game, infinitely diverse, accessible to everyone. While playing table tennis, you will get great pleasure from the game.

The results of the competition were summed up by the senior lecturer of the IK&SGD department, Kolesnikova Raisa Kasymovna: «Well done, our guys! They do not sit at home, but have fun, develop, lead a healthy lifestyle and play sports! »

The individual championship was held in the sports building of KarIU, in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

On April 22, 2021, at the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies, within the framework of the methodological week of the Faculty of Energy, Transport and Control Systems, an open lesson was held on the discipline «Architecture and Organization of Computer Systems» in the PI-19 group, on the topic «Assembly and disassembly of personal computer «.

The purpose of this event was not only to gain practical skills in assembling and disassembling a personal computer, but also to test the virtual laboratory work «PC Configurator», created by our student Daniel Kanaykin, studying under the educational program «Software Engineering». In the process of performing this virtual laboratory work, students learn to select electronic components of the system unit of a personal computer, check them for compatibility, assemble and disassemble a computer.

The open lesson was prepared and conducted by the senior lecturer of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies Titova Zhanna Ivanovna.

The use of virtual laboratory work made it possible to conduct the lesson in a playful way. In the process of using, both the advantages and disadvantages of the new program were discovered.

On April 23, 2021, the head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies, Vyacheslav Aleksandrovich Kunaev, took part in the republican forum of young scientists «Smart Generation», which was held online on the ZOOM platform. The forum was held within the framework of the celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the Forum was to popularize the achievements of young scientists over the years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and, in general, science among the younger generation.

During their speeches at the Forum, young Kazakhstani scientists engaged in research in various fields of science shared their achievements and experience in their chosen field.

Based on the results of the Forum’s work, its participants developed a number of recommendations for state bodies aimed at further support and development of initiatives of young scientists in the Republic of Kazakhstan, such as consolidating the status of «Young Scientist» in the text of the Law «On Science» of the Republic of Kazakhstan, increasing funding for field research doctoral students, strengthening the requirements for the qualitative composition of the teaching staff of universities, etc.

This year marks the 180th anniversary of the birth of the first teacher-educator Ybyray Altynsarin, a man who left a deep mark in the history of enlightenment of the Kazakh people and the formation of the National School. For such a significant date, the department of «Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages» of the Karaganda Industrial University organized a competition of reciters on the theme «My favorite work of Ybyrray Altynsarin», organized for young people in order to perpetuate the memory of the outstanding educator. Ybyrai Altynsarin is not only a Kazakh educator, educator, writer, ethnographer, folklorist, public figure who calls on Kazakh youth to study, be humane, kind, hardworking, love their people, in a word, justify their honorary title of «Man». He argued that this can only be achieved if young people are properly educated from an early age. Ybyray devoted his teaching, poetry, writing and translation works to this.

Students of the 1st and 2nd year of the university, who showed interest in the work of Ybyray Altynsarin, expressively read his works in the Kazakh and Russian languages, demonstrating the art of artistic word. The participants of the competition were awarded with certificates, and the winners – with diplomas of 1,2,3 degrees:
