The IX International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan – New Concepts and Modern Solutions” will be held at the Karaganda State Industrial University on November 29-30, 2017, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the 1967 issue – the release of the First President of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation Nazarbayev Nursultan Abishevich .
The event will be attended by associates of the First President of the RK, scientists from universities of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, heads of state bodies, educational institutions and enterprises, deputies, public figures, students and undergraduates.
The work of the conference will take place in the sections “Innovative and knowledge-intensive technologies as a means of implementing the Third Modernization of Kazakhstan”, “Improving the quality of human capital through training of personnel with higher and postgraduate education”, “Higher educational institution as the center of the program for modernization of public consciousness” Ruhani zhangyru ” , “Problems of environmental management and environmental protection in the framework of the Presidential program” Tugan zher “.
Within the framework of the conference in KSIU, the office of “Ruhani zhangyru” of the People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan will be opened, as well as the Karaganda regional center of the Cisco Networking Academy.
For participants and guests of the conference on November 30, excursions are planned on the historical and cultural center of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the university.

The International Conference “Modern Electric and Power Systems”, which was held on November 15-17 in the Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk. The vice-rector of academic work of Karaganda State Industrial University Galina Sivyakova also participated in this conference.
The conference was held under the aegis of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), which is an international non-profit association of experts in the field of engineering, the world leader in the development of standards for radio electronics, electrical engineering and hardware for computing systems and networks. The main goal of this event was the communication of scientists and industry representatives from Ukraine and other countries, as well as discussion of new modern technical inventions in accordance with the themes of the conference.
Professor G. A. Sivyakova made a report “Remote control of electromechanical systems based on computer simulators”, which was prepared jointly with the rector of the State Research Institute of Computational Technologies, Professor BA Zhautikov.
“This conference is aimed at strengthening international relations and signing new contracts between universities in different countries,” said Galina Alexandrovna. – We have developed further joint work with universities in Ukraine, Poland, Slovenia and Egypt. We outlined a cooperation plan for the development of methodological aids and participation of our representatives in the competition of student works.
It should be noted that the IEEE unites more than 400 thousand individual members from 170 countries (including more than 100 thousand students), publishes the third part of the world technical literature on the use of radio electronics, computers, control systems, electrical engineering, including 122 refereed scientific journals and 36 industry journals for specialists, holds more than 300 major conferences a year. The Association took part in the development of about 900 operating standards.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers annually publishes more than 1,500 advanced conference proceedings that are recognized by academia and industry around the world as the most important collection of consolidated published works in the field of electrical engineering, informatics and related fields.
Proceedings of the conference are indexed in the database “Scopus” – a bibliographic and abstract database and an instrument for tracking the citation of articles published in scientific publications. Indexes 18 thousand scientific titles on technical, medical and humanities sciences of five thousand publishers. The Scopus database in many countries is one of the main sources for obtaining scientometric data for conducting assessment studies at the state and / or corporate level.

KGIU Masters Zhandarbek Almaniyazov and Gulzhaina Esbolova (PhD Violetta Andreyashchenko) took part in the 2nd Republican Scientific and Practical Workshop “Young Energy for Industrial and Innovative Development of Kazakhstan”, which was held on November 23-24 as part of the state program of industrial and innovative development of the Republic Kazakhstan for 2015-2019.
Within the framework of the cooperation organized by the Department of Commercialization of Technologies of ENU. Gumilev, a contest was held to determine the best innovative project of undergraduates studying in GPIIIR. Within a day projects of 75 candidates from five Kazakhstan universities were presented. The purpose of this contest was to identify the most promising innovations and technologies to ensure sustainable growth of the country’s economy and create the conditions for the disclosure and realization of the creative abilities and potential of youth through involvement in scientific and innovative activities.
Winners in the nominations “Best Speaker”, “Best Presentation”, “Best Innovative Aspect”, “Best Creative Project”, “Best Commercialized Aspect” in the sections “Chemistry and Mettalurgy”, “Biotechnology, Food Engineering and Food Production” “Technological equipment, mechanical engineering, construction”, “Automation and Information Technologies” received well-deserved awards.
As a result of the seminar, master students of Karaganda State Industrial University Zhandarbek Almanyazov and Gulzhaina Esbolova received certificates for active participation in the seminar. Gulzhaina’s work won the “Best Creative Project” nomination. Its theme is “Analysis of the melting products of the furnace of the Early Iron Age of the Alat Settlement of the Kent Mountains”.
As members of the competitive commission noted, during the presentation of the projects of undergraduates a lot of interesting information was announced. The graduates shared their experience with colleagues from other universities, and the projects presented at the seminar can be of great benefit in the development of the economy of Kazakhstan.

For one grantee of the Foundation of the First President of RK, there has been more in the Karaganda State Industrial University. They became a fourth year student of the Faculty of Economics and Construction, Adil Bazarov.
In order to win the annual republican competition for student studentships of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, students of colleges and universities pass a serious competitive selection. This studentship is not only a promotion of high achievement, but also a strong motivation for even greater successes and achievements.
Studying «excellent» all these years and taking an active part in the scientific and creative life of the university, the future builder filed in an application for a studentship for the 2017-18 year together with 650 other representatives of Kazakhstan universities. And here is the result – 80 best students gathered in Almaty last week to get diplomas of laureates and sign contracts. During the gala concert students of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy were honored in the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named by Abay.
Now monthly, until May 2018, Adil Bazarov will receive a studentship of 40 thousand tenge. Assistance to the family budget is good, given that a fourth-year student is being paid on a paid basis.
“Every semester I will send reports on the work done, photos, diplomas, certificates, scientific articles to the Foundation of the First President of the RK,” Adil said. – At present I am engaged in research work in the field of construction geotechnics in the mined areas of coal deposits in the Karaganda region. Of the disciplines studied at the university, I like most of all “Estimated business in construction” and “Basement and foundations.” My work is mainly concerned with truncated conical foundations. In plans – entering the magistracy next year.

In the first days of December, representatives of the Karaganda State Industrial University will take part in the semifinal of the World Programming Championship among student teams, which will be held in Almaty.
Students of the groups “Computer Science and Software” of different courses Danil Prohorovich, Kuanysh Yusupov and Vasily Kim successfully passed the quarterfinal competitions that took place in early November in Nazarbayev-University. From Karaganda region there were only two universities: KSIU and KarSTU.
– The guys were asked to solve 12 tasks in five hours. Our team in this lineup was formed for the first time and showed decent results after going to the semifinals, “says the team’s trainer, senior lecturer of the department” Power, Automation and Computer Engineering “Anastasia Chvanova.
It should be noted that the quarterfinals of the World Programming Championship among student teams were held simultaneously in Astana, Almaty, Barnaul, Tbilisi and St. Petersburg.
