The results of the first youth award of the akim of the city “ZhasStar” were summed up at the forum of the Temirtau youth. Two students of KSIU, included in the number of nominees, received letters of appreciation from the akim of Temirtau.

As it was noted at the forum, the role of youth, its education in the spirit of patriotism, attraction to government is put by President of our country, National Leader N.A. Nazarbayev to one of the main places. For the years of the country’s independence, much has already been done, and even more is planned. Achievement of the set goals is the task of the young generation of people of Kazakhstan who are already showing themselves in various spheres.

The “ZhasStar” akim is awarded to young people from the age of 14 to 29 years for the fruitful creative, professional and social activities, recognized in the youth environment. At the very end of December, the names of the laureates in the nominations “Young Leader of the Year”, “Volunteer of the Year”, “Youth Organization of the Year”, “Young Specialist of the Year”, “Youth Choices” became Almas Zhanatbek, Andrey Suleimanov, PA “Temirtau Medical college “, Adilbek Igembaev and Nikita Buyanov. Winners were awarded diplomas and cash bonuses of 50 thousand tenge each.

None of the events are not done in our days without volunteers – their activities are very developed in the city. Among the professionals – the volunteer center “Shanyrak”. His representative Aigerim Yerzhanova, a student of the group MO-14 of the Karaganda State Industrial University, received a letter of thanks from Akim Temirtau GA Ashimov as the best volunteer of the year, and Aigerim Chakenova, a student of the VTPO-17s group, for the best social project of the year. Besides them, thanks to Akim’s letters of gratitude, nine other young people from Temirtau were also received, including Alain Hegai, Alexey Lee, Mukhamedzhan Temirov and others.

The organizers hope that both the forum and the youth akim’s prize will become an incentive determining personal competitiveness and active participation in public life, as well as the main factor of the spiritual development of the Temirtau youth.

Karaganda State Industrial University continues to conduct excursions for students of the 9th and 11th grades of Temirtau schools within the framework of the program “Choosing the future profession”.

Recently, students from schools №№ 5, 10, 14, 15, 21 and the city gymnasium visited the university. During the excursions the children got acquainted with the material and technical base of the university, visited the museum of the State Research Institute of Architecture, an engineering laboratory, an industrial and production site. I got acquainted with all the specialties of the university and college at KSIU.

It is very important to be able to make the right choice. A difficult task now faces those who will soon finish school, and their parents. And such excursions help the graduates to decide on the future profession, to learn the peculiarities of this or that specialty, to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of student life. KSIU is always open to all comers and offers to receive high-quality and demanded education.

Students of KSIU won six Grand Prix Republican Festival «Alaman», which took place in the Astana for students of all of Kazakhstan enrolled in the program “Mangilik el  zhastary – industriaga!” – “Serpin.”

The purpose of the Festival “Alaman – support social initiatives, creative abilities students, improving the activity and identification of versatility young people. Youth of fourteen regions of the country’s got another possibility of communication and dating with representatives of other educational institutions. Participation in the festival was more than four hundred people. In the ceremony in honor of the best students project “Serpin” took part and students of KSIU. Grand Prix awarded: in the category of “the best zhaidarman” – student group TTTT-15k Sh. Sopbek, in the category of “the best debater – student group TTTT-15K E. Baisal, in the category of “Serpin – start-ap” – student гр. EE-15k A. Esimhanova, in the category of “the best Sardar” – student group MS-15k- M. Karibzhan, in the category of “the best essay» about the importance of programs “Serpin” – student group TOMD-15k A. Rustem. In the creative competition honor Karaganda the field and the native of high school defended vocalists-guitarists A. Balkybekov and T. Tastemir, students group S-15k. In this category they also have been awarded the Grand Prix.
