On February 9, 2019 in the Temirtau Palace of Culture the regional tournament of the first  open league “Magnitka” took place. Our team fought with the strongest teams from Kokshetau, Karaganda and Temirtau for reaching the semi-finals.

As a result of the game, thanks to sparkling jokes and witticisms, the CSM team of KSIU took the 1st place in the first ¼ open league of “Magnitka” and advanced to the semifinals, which will be held in mid-February of this year.

The cheerfulness and resourcefulness of our CSM players once again proved that the traditions of CSM at KSIU continue to grow, and its popularity grow! We wish more creative finds and brilliant victories!

The meeting was held within the framework of cooperation of Zhumagali Arystan with Karaganda State Industrial University on the implementation of the unique project KazanNAN, authored by Zhumagali Arystan, aimed at reviving the national and spiritual values ​​of the family, culture of the Kazakh people, preserving and transferring family culture and traditions the younger generation. The implementation of the KazanNAN project originates in 2017 with the participation in the celebration of the Nauryz state holiday in Kostanay in 2017. A cauldron filled with the national dish Nauryzkozhe attracted the special attention of people and the city administration. The idea of ​​reviving the tradition of the ancestors, through the traditional Kazakh dishes filled with energy of the steppe and natural products produced in Kazakhstan, was successfully implemented.

This project is now being actively implemented at KSIU. Through the implementation of the project “KazanNAN as a consolidating element of Turkic identity. Past, Present and Future ”a large educational work is being conducted to popularize Kazakhstani culture and traditions of the people among students of the KSIU and the youth of Temirtau, which is relevant in the light of the program article by Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe” and the program “Ruhani Zhangyru”.

Earlier, a research was conducted at the university’s laboratory to study the chemical composition of an ancient cauldron found in Kostanay region. As a result of X-ray fluorescent analysis of the chemical composition on the Olympus DPO-2000 portable express analyzer, carried out in the “Laboratory of Engineering Profile of Electron Microscopy and Nanotechnology” of KSIU, it turned out that there are 7 chemical elements in the structure of cauldron. The result of the examination showed that the chemical elements present in the composition of the cauldron correspond to the modern standards for the manufacture of dishes of this nature. The results of the study were certified.

In the framework of the meeting, the format of further cooperation was discussed, it is planned to release souvenirs in the form of cauldrons, joint research work, particular attention was paid to the study of ancient metallurgy, which in the article “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe” by N.A.Nazarbayev.

In KSIU, further work on the implementation of the KazanNAN project is planned in the following areas:

• Conducting social and cultural events, a key figure in which is a cauldron, cooking treats, organizing interesting meetings of people on the subject of cultural heritage, the revival of traditions, the introduction of the young generation to the traditions.
• Carrying out charity events in order to support socially needy people
• Conducting cultural and familiarization theatrical performances in ethnic style “Legends at cauldron “.
• Production of printed materials on the theme of national dishes, traditions and customs of the Kazakh people.

On January 30, 2019, the rector Zhautikov Bakhyt Akhatovich met with members of the Gianluigi Magnitoffon CSM team at KSIU. The meeting was attended by the founder of the CSM movement, the secretary of the city maslikhat, A. Lomakin, who noted the high level of our CSM university teams.

During this meeting, team members shared their impressions of the last 30th International Festival of CSM teams “KiViN-2019” in the city of Sochi. Recall that out of 600 teams, our national team received a high rating of jury members and won the right to play in the Central League, which is located in Moscow. Already in early March, our guys leave to participate in the first rounds. This tournament will show their level of preparation, we are sure that our players have every chance to reach the Premier League of CSM.

During the meeting, players also shared that the school of life called CSM teaches to be sociable, versatile and resourceful.

The CSM team thanked the KSIU leadership for their continued support for the development of CSM movement in the university.

Rector Zhautikov Bakhyt Akhatovich noted the good potential of the participants of the CSM team “Gianluigi Magnitoffon”. He told about the history of the CSM movement, and also shared with the guys funny experiences from his student life.

The team captain, 3rd year student of KSIU Sergei Khegai handed the rector a letter of thanks from the President of the International Union of CSM, Alexander Maslyakov.

The second team of CSM KSIU “Ironborn”, consisting of students of the 1 and 2 courses, in February 2019 will perform in the Irtysh League of CSM, Pavlodar.

On January 30, 2019, a Latin-language training seminar was held, organized by the Kazakh, Russian and Foreign Languages ​​department together with the Temirtau language development center as part of the action plan for the implementation of the Ruhani Zhangyru program.

The seminar was attended by teachers who speak the state language.

As the head of the Temirtau Language Development Center Akhmetzhanova Meruert Bagdatovna noted, the decision to switch to Latin became one of the most important components of the Ruhani Zhangyru program. The seminar also explained in detail the spelling of words in the Latin alphabet, their spelling rules and peculiarities of words of foreign origin.

Seminar participants also consolidated their skills in practice, conducted exercises on the knowledge of the Latin alphabet. At the end of the seminar, everyone sang karaoke on the song of the famous Kazakh composer Sh. Kaldayagov “Arys zahasynda” in Latin.

The transition to Latin in Kazakhstan will take place in three stages: 2018-2020, 2021-2023, and 2024-2025.
