September 19, 2019 in the reading room of the library for students and faculty of Karaganda state industrial university held a day of information “New books-a long life.”
On this day, teachers and students of all courses had a tour of the library hall, where they were waiting for interesting and necessary information about the novelties of literature. Here students were presented new textbooks and teaching AIDS. There are 87 titles of books in 3 languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. This book publishing “Bastau”, “Epigraph”, The Association of Universities and educational literature teachers of our University.
In July 2019, KSIU received free of charge another 30 titles of books under the program “100 best textbooks in the world in the Kazakh language” (1260 copies). Last year, our University received 17 titles (1485 copies) under this program.
Within the framework of this project, the best books on such humanitarian disciplines as philosophy, sociology, psychology, Economics, management, entrepreneurship, religious studies, linguistics, cultural studies, anthropology, journalism, etc. are translated into Kazakh.
This library event is aimed primarily at the creation of a knowledge cluster according to a specific profile of the educational program of all faculties of KSIU with regular reviewing of students, staff and faculty with a new income teaching AIDS PPP our KSIU in the library.

On September 19-20, al-Farabi Kazakh national University hosted the world forum and exhibition of universities QS WORLDWIDE-2019. The purpose and objectives of holding events of international scale, aimed at implementation of the state program “Rouhani ganguro,” improving the competitiveness of domestic higher education.
“QS WORLDWIDE “is one of the authoritative international events held by the British rating Agency”QS”. The forum is a global platform for the exchange of experience and discussion of prospects for the development of higher education and the formation of world-class universities, internationalization and improvement of the quality of education.
The founder of the consulting company “QS” Nunzio Quacquarelli speaking at the international conference “QS WORLDWIDE” held in 2018 in Moscow, stressed that Kazakhstan occupies the 37th place in the ranking of countries with the strongest education systems, and universities show a good progress in the international rankings.
The theme of the third world forum was “the Way to global heights: the harmony of human heritage and advanced technologies”.
The event was attended by over 800 academic leaders – University rectors, scientists and experts from more than 50 countries. Among them: representatives of the UN, UNESCO and other international organizations, world-known companies as Microsoft, the BBC, Elsevier, Springer, Nature, YODAK, AKSON; heads of universities comprising the top 800 of the international rating QS “World University Rankings”; the members of the SUN, USRN, international Association of ranking organizations and universities IREG Observatory, experts from the European network for accreditation of engineering education ENAEE.
The program of the international conference was very rich – there were plenary sessions, panel discussions, business meetings and signing of memorandums of cooperation. During these meetings there were discussions and development of a new model for the future development of universities in the framework of integration of education, science, advanced technologies and spiritual values.
Such a large-scale event testifies to the growing authority of the higher education system of Kazakhstan in the international arena. In addition, it will give a good impetus and will allow us to move to a qualitatively new high level of domestic higher education.

In 2019, the Prosecutor General’s office of the Russian Federation is the organizer of the International youth competition of social anti-corruption advertising on the theme “Together against corruption!”.
The competition is held for young people from the Russian Federation, as well as other member States of the Interstate Council on combating corruption (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) and BRICS countries (Brazil, India, China, South Africa).
The competition aims to attract young people to participate in the prevention of corruption, the development and use of social advertising to prevent corruption; the formation of the practice of interaction of society with the Prosecutor’s office and other public authorities in the anti-corruption education of the population.
Young people aged 14 to 35 from Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and South Africa are invited to participate. they are invited to prepare anti-corruption posters and videos on the theme “Together against corruption!”.
It is expected that the competitive works will reflect modern state mechanisms to combat corruption at all levels and in all spheres of society, as well as the role and importance of international cooperation in this direction.
The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition is planned to coincide with the International day against corruption (December 9).

On September 17, Karaganda state industrial university held a regional open dictation on Latin graphics. The purpose of the dictation is to increase the role of the state language in strengthening peace and harmony in the country, education of Kazakhstan patriotism and tolerance.
The regional campaign involved students from all courses and teachers KSIU, in addition to test your knowledge on the Latin decided by the Deputy akim of Temirtau city, Kuttybai Miras Ganibegovic.
Before the dictation, through an explanatory video, the participants recalled some aspects related to speaking, writing and reading. Text dictation on the theme of competitiveness, voiced text senior teacher of Department of “Kazakh, Russian and foreign languages” of Kapasheva Jania Kudaibergenovna. The duration of the dictation was 30 minutes. Under the terms of the dictation, at the first reading it was necessary to listen carefully to the text, at the second –to write it, at the third-to check the spelling correctness of the work performed.
At the end of the dictation, two small competitions were held. In the first competition, two people were given a text written in Latin, and their task was to read it expressively and without errors in a short time. In the second interview, it was a test of comprehension and spelling. Two students under dictation had to write a sentence, and, accordingly, use Latin graphics.
As noted by the participants of the dictation, there were some difficulties in writing the dictation, but such events on a systematic basis will contribute to the rapid development of Latin graphics.
