On may 18, 2020, the Deputy Director of the integrity Department of the anti-corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ganizhan Asanuly, organized a nationwide online video lecture on the theme “Adaldyktymuratetkenuly Abay” within the framework of the Republican unified hour of integrity, which is held quarterly, in order to promote human values, such as: justice, integrity and trust.

In KSIU, students of the 1st and 2nd courses and members of the student club “Sanalyurpak” took part in viewing the video lecture.

Every nation has spiritual and moral support. Almost all civilized States can boast of outstanding historical figures. Among them are politicians, statesmen and public figures, military leaders, writers and poets, artists and cultural figures. The Kazakh public can also safely name a whole galaxy of names of their bright representatives. Abai Kunanbayev holds a special place among them. In the minds of the Kazakh people, their creative heritage and works teach wisdom, justice and honesty. It is everyone’s duty to preserve the poet’s cultural heritage!

During the hour of honesty, the words of prominent leaders and Heads of state of the Republic of Kazakhstan were quoted.

Let’s note the wise words of the First President, Leader of the nation N. Nazarbayev: “True humanism, close attention to the concerns and needs of a person “sensitive in heart and soul”, ruthless truthfulness in the depiction of life, an open view of the world – all these facets of our great mentor’s talent should determine the true meaning and content of all our today’s large and small beginnings.”

President Of The Republic of Kazakhstan K-Zh.Tokayev in his article “Abay and Kazakhstan in the XXI century” noted the importance of the poet’s legacy in the modernization of the country: “The knowledge of Abay is the knowledge of oneself. And self-knowledge, constant growth, the study of science, education – this is wisdom. The words of Abay Kunanbayev should become a reference point for the generation. The great legacy of Abai will serve to form a new quality of the Kazakh nation, ” he said.

Chairman of the anti corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alik Shpekbayev said the following about the greatest poet: “The great Abay in the 19th century succinctly outlined the fundamental principles inherent in a “whole person” – “Tolyatti”. He prioritized the pursuit of virtue, loyalty to his word and deed, and a thirst for knowledge.” Thus, he noted the special role of Abay Kunanbayev in promoting the ideology of integrity.

It should be noted that the anti-corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan constantly conducts work aimed at promoting integrity in society.

At the end of the video lecture, Anizhan Asanuly noted that: “the Wide popularization of the great works of Abay Kunanbayev, who wrote about integrity, honesty and humanity is a vivid example of educating a conscious generation. It doesn’t matter where you are, at home, at school, or with friends on the street…. Be honest, fair and true to yourself and your business!» .

Sarsenova Zhaylygul, a student of Karaganda state industrial university, became the winner in the network project «Letter to a veteran»
The project was organized by the KSU «youth resource center of the city of Temirtau».

As part of the «Letter to a veteran» project, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war, an appeal to veterans and home front workers was written from grateful descendants.

The main goals of the project were two: to preserve the historical memory of the war, to pass it on to the younger generation and to pay tribute to the leaders of the feat of the people in the great Patriotic war – veterans, developing the ideas of the volunteer movement. The project is aimed at fostering patriotism, which should become the unifying Foundation of our society in the difficult and contradictory time of the beginning of the XXI century.

Project objectives:

– Patriotic, spiritual and moral education, work aimed at a deep understanding of the great feat of the Soviet people;

– instilling compassion for the fate of the military generation, a sense of gratitude to those who saved humanity from the horrors of fascism;

– attracting students to participate in the project dedicated to the Victory Day in the great Patriotic war.

At the end of the competition, the winner was awarded a fitness bracelet and a letter of thanks!

On may 5, KSIU hosted an international online teleconference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war and the 100th anniversary of Hero of the Soviet Union Nurken Abdirov, who united Moscow, Astrakhan, Karaganda and Temirtau. The event was attended by more than 200 teachers and students of universities and colleges in Kazakhstan and Russia.

On April 16, 2020, a scientific conference «Youth, science and technology» was held in Karaganda state industrial university in an online format: ways of improvement and integration”, dedicated to the day of science in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The conference was attended by more than 250 people from leading universities in Kazakhstan and Russia.
