In Karaganda state industrial University in the framework of the event “freshman Week” every year is a traditional Festival of Health. The main purpose of the festival was to assess the level of cohesion, sports preparedness of freshmen, as well as the formation of students ‘ healthy lifestyle.

In order to build a powerful strong state, there must be a strong nation. A healthy nation will be only where the sport develops. Just the other day, the President of the country Kasym-Jomart Tokayev in his address once again urged to engage in mass sports. Karaganda state industrial University is a University of healthy lifestyle, where every student is sure to find something that will appeal.

The festival program was very rich. Freshmen with pleasure took part in all relays, showed team spirit and fierce will to win.

The health festival was held at a high organizational level. It was attended by more than 200 people. Freshmen received a good charge of vivacity, health, good mood.

One of the most important tasks of any higher education institution is to work with first-year students, aimed at their faster and more successful adaptation to the new system of education, to the new system of social relations, to the development of their new role of students.

Among the many events held at Karaganda state industrial University in the first months of the academic year and aimed at successful adaptation, the “week of the freshman”stands out. The purpose of this event was to involve first-year students in active student life, familiarity with the University, faculty, features of education at the University, living in dormitories.

Freshman week in KSIU is a whole week of events, including new acquaintances, adaptation activities, city tours and visits to museums. The action plan “freshman Week” includes the following events:

– acquaintance of freshmen with curators, faculties, departments and divisions of KSIU; acquaintance with the Charter of the University, internal regulations, the code of honor of the student, etc.

– lessons in the framework of the program “Rouhani ganguro»

– visit to the Museum of KSIU, tour of KSIU: acquaintance of freshmen with the University, its classrooms, library, academic buildings, laboratories, etc.

– meeting with the heads of creative teams and student associations of KSIU

– meeting with representatives of law enforcement agencies, the youth resource center of Temirtau, the center for the study of interfaith relations.

On September 3, in  Karaganda state industrial university held a solemn meeting dedicated to the Constitution Day and  the day of Knowledge. Alma- mater of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev hospitably opened  its doors to students not only living in the Karaganda region, but also came from all regions of Kazakhstan.

Honorary guests of the celebration were colleagues of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, our dear elders and professors of our University.

A congratulatory speech  made  by the rector of the Karaganda state industrial University Zhautikov Bakhyt Akhatovich.

– I heartily congratulate you on the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the day of Knowledge. Our freshmen are the best graduates of schools of Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Almaty, Mangistau regions, Temirtau and all districts of our region. We hope that after 4 years you will become qualified specialists, but the future success depends only on you. Dear friends, I wish you all good studies and success – said on his speech.

In honor of the Constitution day, our teachers and staff were honored to be awarded letters of thanks for their active participation in social and political life and conscientious work. In addition, they were awarded letters of thanks of the town branch of the party “Nur Otan”.

Congratulatory  speech   made a graduate of the University, excellent student, winner of the title “Best student of Kazakhstan” Smayil Arailym.

Student’s  years  are the most vivid and memorable. Ahead of freshmen waiting for four years of student life, which will be lectures and seminars, scientific conferences and sporting events, bright events and festivals, competitions and debates. On September 2, 2019, Karaganda state industrial University hosted a meeting with representatives of the Polish delegation from the AGH Scientific and technical University. The purpose of the meeting is to achieve the most favorable conditions for business mutually beneficial international cooperation in research activities in the fields of engineering and materials science, including new materials and nanotechnology, as well as robotics and automation of production processes, mechatronics. In addition, to work out the issues of training of undergraduates and doctoral students of KGIU in AGH Scientific and technical University and issues of co-leadership of master’s and doctoral theses.

AGH University of Science and technology is the largest technical higher education institution in Poland, and is considered one of the best Polish technical universities.

The meeting was attended by Marcin Kot-Professor of mechanical engineering and materials science, Jacek Cieslik-Professor of the Department of production systems, mechatronics and modern automation of production, faculty of mechanical engineering and robotics AGH University of Science and technology.

Tasks:

– improving the quality of training and advanced training of scientific and pedagogical personnel;

– creation of conditions for training and retraining of personnel, ensuring the increase of innovative activity in the system of education and science, commercialization of research results;

– joint organization of scientific and practical conferences and seminars;

– joint participation and development of programs of international cooperation in the field of science of innovative technologies, integration into the world scientific, educational and information system, development of joint research projects for participation in competitions of international funds and organizations;

– exchange of students, undergraduates, PhD students for training, research, internships;

– co-conducting courses and seminars, management of master’s, PhD – doctoral dissertations;

– joint preparation and publication of educational and methodical literature in order to update and create new textbooks, manuals based on scientific research, scientific articles indexed in the databases Web of Science and Scopus.

Following the meeting, arrangements for the programs of academic mobility and scientific training undergraduates, PhD students, faculty, publication of joint scientific works etc. carried out a study tour with the material-technical base of the University, also met with the teaching staff of University and undergraduates. Following the meeting, it is planned to work together on project works, state budget topics, master’s theses, joint publication of articles and monographs.
