On September 2, 2019, Karaganda state industrial University hosted a meeting with representatives of the Polish delegation from the AGH Scientific and technical University. The purpose of the meeting is to achieve the most favorable conditions for business mutually beneficial international cooperation in research activities in the fields of engineering and materials science, including new materials and nanotechnology, as well as robotics and automation of production processes, mechatronics. In addition, to work out the issues of training of undergraduates and doctoral students of KGIU in AGH Scientific and technical University and issues of co-leadership of master’s and doctoral theses.
AGH University of Science and technology is the largest technical higher education institution in Poland, and is considered one of the best Polish technical universities.
The meeting was attended by Marcin Kot-Professor of mechanical engineering and materials science, Jacek Cieslik-Professor of the Department of production systems, mechatronics and modern automation of production, faculty of mechanical engineering and robotics AGH University of Science and technology.
Tasks:
– improving the quality of training and advanced training of scientific and pedagogical personnel;
– creation of conditions for training and retraining of personnel, ensuring the increase of innovative activity in the system of education and science, commercialization of research results;
– joint organization of scientific and practical conferences and seminars;
– joint participation and development of programs of international cooperation in the field of science of innovative technologies, integration into the world scientific, educational and information system, development of joint research projects for participation in competitions of international funds and organizations;
– exchange of students, undergraduates, PhD students for training, research, internships;
– co-conducting courses and seminars, management of master’s, PhD – doctoral dissertations;
– joint preparation and publication of educational and methodical literature in order to update and create new textbooks, manuals based on scientific research, scientific articles indexed in the databases Web of Science and Scopus.
Following the meeting, arrangements for the programs of academic mobility and scientific training undergraduates, PhD students, faculty, publication of joint scientific works etc. carried out a study tour with the material-technical base of the University, also met with the teaching staff of University and undergraduates. Following the meeting, it is planned to work together on project works, state budget topics, master’s theses, joint publication of articles and monographs.
