THE WEEK OF FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS HAS STARTED AT KARAGANDA INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY!
Every new academic year at CarIU traditionally begins with «Freshman Week». The new academic year has not become an exception to the rules, because our first-year students are the best graduates of schools in Atyrau, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Almaty, Mangistau regions, Temirtau and all districts of our region.
During the adaptation week, seminars-presentations, a Health Festival, sports contests, relay races and excursions to the city Museum of Local Lore, the winter garden, the historical and cultural center of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held for newly minted students. All the events of this week are held not only to help newly-minted students to adapt more easily to their new environment, but also to make these first days of a new stage of life memorable.
Today, curatorial hours «Let’s get acquainted» were held for our first-year students, where they were able to get acquainted with the leadership of the university, with the history and activities of our university, the profile of faculties, departments and departments, prospects for their development, with the information and technical base of KarIU, classrooms, academic buildings, laboratories, library and reading room, academic calendar for 2022– 2023 academic year, the internal regulations of students of CarIU, the Code of Academic Integrity of students, with the rules of ethics of students, staff and teaching staff of KarIU, as well as to be instructed in fire safety techniques and visit the museum of the history of KarIU.
In addition, a single hour of integrity was organized and held for all university students, with the participation of the executive secretary of the Karaganda regional branch of the Amanat party, Bekzat Altynbekov. The purpose of which is to instill in students an idea of the main values of a person-honesty, integrity, justice and faith, to promote the acquisition of moral qualities of kindness, intelligence, truthfulness, mercy, etc., to foster respect and mercy for each other.
Summing up, we note that the first day of participation in the week of the freshman-2022 was excellent!
