Students of the Karaganda Industrial University held a charity event «Help Aiym» to help our little compatriot. Ayim has been struggling with the terrible disease «Cancer» for several years. At this time, the girl is undergoing treatment and the family needs money. Students of our university initiated a campaign and transferred the collected funds to the girl’s account. We wish our compatriot a speedy recovery. As the participants of the action noted: «On the eve of the bright holiday of Nauryz, we wanted to give a piece of our kindness to children who need it. We want all residents of Temitaus to join our action and help Aiym overcome the disease»

The championship was held on March 4 and 5, 2021 at the sports grounds of our university in three disciplines:

-jumping rope;

-hoop;

-jumping in place.

67 girls took part in the competition.

According to the results of the championship, the places were distributed as follows:

– in competitions on a skipping rope places:

1st place – Tolegen Akerke

2nd place – Saya Karataeva

3rd place – Әbsatar Aruzhan

– in competitions with a hoop:

1st place – Bauyrzhankyzy Elvira

2nd place – Amangeldy Sandugash

3rd place – Ibraeva Amina and Khaitova Navruza

– in jumping:

1st place – Aripbai Asylzat

2nd place – Tasibek Meruert

3rd place – Abylkairova Nargiza

By the sum of the three exercises, the winners were:

1st place – Tolegen Akerke

2nd place – Saya Karataeva

3rd place – Amangeldy Sandugash

The competitions were held in a friendly atmosphere. Winners and awardees were awarded with diplomas.

Forward student youth, to new records!

Within the framework of the initiative projects of the Nur Otan party to support people of the older generation, a pilot project «Silver University» was launched at the Karaganda Industrial University in February 2021. In total, 27 people have expressed their desire to study at the Silver University since the launch of the project. The project participants were most attracted by such areas as computer literacy and the school of entrepreneurship. Also

Temirtau residents of retirement age had the opportunity to undergo training in various programs in accordance with their interests.

The Vice-Rector for Strategic Planning of the KarIU Galina Aleksandrovna Sivyakova congratulated the «silver graduates» on the completion of their studies. The graduates expressed their deep regret about the completion of their favorite courses and expressed a desire to re-study.

Summing up the work of the first stream of the Silver University, I would like to note the enthusiasm with which our students of elegant age took this initiative, their desire to develop and learn something new. And we are looking forward to meeting our graduates in new classes and we know for sure that it is never too late to study!

Let us also remind that in addition to computer literacy courses, within the framework of the Silver University project, groups are completed in such areas as financial literacy, a school of entrepreneurship, and a chess club.

Students of the Karaganda Industrial University Zhimakhan Usel and Ilesbek Uigerim won first degree diplomas for their active participation in the Republican blitz tournament «Useaz tilegi» in History.

This tournament was organized by the Republican Scientific and Methodological Center «Useaz tilegi» and was held in an online format. Our students showed impeccable knowledge of this discipline and quick reaction, for which they were awarded the victory.

Congratulations to Asel and Aigerim with a worthy victory!

The KVN team «Nonstandard» of the Karaganda Industrial University consisting of students Mukhtarov Aibek (group EPO-20sk) and Daniyarov Bekseit (group PI-20s) showed a brilliant game in an online format and passed the qualifying round to the league «KVN – Siberia – Next» MS KVN of the city of Novosibirsk, thereby obtaining the right to play in the new season, in which several rounds of the game await them. Our new team amazed the jury with their sparkling jokes, great sense of humor and resourcefulness, thereby giving an endless surge of emotions.

We also note that the KVN movement at our university is actively developing, with the arrival of new students, we have new interesting and original teams, thanks to which KVN is gaining momentum. Previously, our teams were participants of the XXXI International Sochi Festival «KiViN-2020» and more than once reached the final of the KVN League «Siberia», and also took first places in the cups of the Akim of the city and region.
