Causes of the spread of destructive currents

[Дата публикации: 29.11.2022, 16:39:44, published by: Sergey Plotnikov]

A destructive religious organization is a structure that threatens legitimate human rights and freedoms, spreads radical religious ideas and destroys spiritual, psychological and physical health of a person, causes material damage, calls into question the foundations of statehood, incites interreligious and international conflicts, does not recognize traditional family values and encourages abandoning civic duty.

Visitors have important financial resources of recruiters and well-developed methods of processing and processing human consciousness.Reference data of residents, information about the time of their residence in apartments are taken into account. Destructive religious movement-values the spiritual state of its members, first of all their activity. The available financial instruments allow you to rent a room, print beautifully illustrated literature, finance television and radio broadcasting. Many destructive religious organizations are calling for “peace.” They do not take up arms, they can deny state power and even oppose it. They may preach hatred of traditional religions.

People in the state and society often differ in their social status and profession.

People still share a religious basis. If he belongs to one of the destructive religious organizations, he will be excluded from society while he is there. It is important to remember that recruiters, often engaged in hiring new members, have methods of psychological influence with which they hire new adherents, so the more experienced and competent the recruiter, the more difficult it will be to resist his influence. People with certain psychological problems, suffering from severe stress or depression, as well as those who are going through difficult life situations, easily influence recruiters because their psychological defense mechanisms cannot fully function. However, all the reasons why people succumb to the manipulations of sectarians and fall into destructive religious movements are much broader:

For example, the search for truth. Global issues such as the meaning of life, the purpose of man on earth, the origin of man, etc., have attracted people at all times. At first glance, it seems that while communicating with recruiters, they have answers to all their questions, and they speak with absolute confidence about their beliefs, but they do not talk about everything at once, but promise to reveal the truth in the further process of communication and training. This trick works, and the interested person goes to the recruiter for answers to his questions.

The search for communication and understanding. Lonely and insecure people who find it difficult to find a common language with others will gladly support a conversation with smiling and kind “preachers” walking down the street, especially since these preachers can communicate not only on a religious topic, but also on topics interesting to the interlocutor. Therefore, after several conversations with a recruiter, a person usually agrees to attend their meeting, at which a psychological method called “love bombardment” is used for a beginner. This method treats a person attending a group meeting for the first time with great attention and care from all members of the sect, constantly praises him and expresses joy at participating in their meeting. Such attention and care do not charm a person who has recently felt lonely and is not needed by anyone, so he begins to attend meetings regularly to feel needed and important. Lonely people tend to be more dependent on the sect than others, because they are motivated by a destructive cult not only for moral and psychological, but also for social reasons.

Those who have recently experienced grief are easy “prey” for recruiters. Solving problems and finding solace. There are difficult situations in every person’s life-the death of a loved one, divorce from a loved one, great difficulties in a career or business, etc. Such problems are very complex, sometimes they cannot be solved, they need to be overcome. In difficult life situations, a person is very vulnerable, so many people join destructive religious organizations during life difficulties. Recruiters not only show understanding, care and kindness, but also offer solutions to problems that at first glance are unsolvable: a person who has recently lost loved ones is told about the promised eternal life and resurrection from the dead; a person facing financial difficulties – about a new world in which money does not matter; recently, who suffers from a serious illness – about the miraculous treatment, etc. Therefore, people begin to serve the cult, trusting sectarians, hoping for a good, happy life and expecting that everything promised will come true soon.

Being in a destructive religious organization can make you feel like you are involved in a select group. Search for an opportunity to realize yourself. Self-realization is one of the most important social needs of a person, and people who cannot succeed, realize themselves in a profession, a favorite business, etc., can look for such an opportunity in a destructive cult. Since so much attention is paid to newcomers in such organizations, they are constantly praised and encouraged, it is not surprising that many new adherents of a destructive religious organization feel significant and useful when they attend group meetings. One of the main duties of recruiters is to hire new adherents, and members who do this job better than others are praised and encouraged in all respects. That is why many people feel that they can realize themselves in a religious organization by “passing the truth to people” and attracting new members.

Thus, we can conclude about imitation or an attempt to understand a loved one. This reason is already skillful in relation to those who have a loved one. A person either tries to understand what a loved one has found in the sect, and begins to study the teachings of the organization and attend meetings, not noticing how he is gradually drawn into the sect, or decides to join the organization so as not to lose the opportunity to communicate with it, and accompanies a loved one. It is also not uncommon for fans of a famous person who is a master of a certain cult to imitate their idols and join this religious organization.
