On September 9-11, within the framework of the project «Development and support of the activities of youth self-government bodies» a visiting asset was held for members of student self-government bodies of higher educational institutions of the Karaganda region.

The purpose of the project: formation of the youth’s personal readiness for self-realization in the conditions of modern society through the development of social interaction skills.

Student self-government is one of the forms of educational work of the University, aimed at the formation of a comprehensively developed, creative personality, with an active life position, training modern specialists who are competitive in the labor market.

The event was attended by representatives of student self-government bodies, students of secondary schools, students of universities and colleges. The total coverage is 150 people.

Within the framework of the event, trainings were held for young people studying in Bukhara-Zhyrau and Karkarala districts, training sessions for active participants, excursions.

During the trainings, the following questions were raised: about the role of self-government bodies of students and youth in the formation of an active civic position and the development of leadership qualities and skills; about the ongoing work of student self-government bodies in the universities of the region; volunteer activities; about participation in the educational work of the university, including in the dormitory; identification of problems of student youth and participation in their solution; support of talented youth, etc.

The event contributes to the support of students’ social activities aimed at solving important issues and implementing student initiatives, the development of students’ social activity.

During the event, the students made friends and exchanged opinions. Thanking the organizers, they offered to hold this event on an annual basis.

At the end of the event, students of Karaganda industrial university Tleubek Arailym, Omirali Samat, Kunebai Nursezim and Tleubergenov Karshige were awarded certificates.
