Nord Gold plc (hereinafter referred to as “Nordgold” or “company”) announces the launch of a new Sprint-2022 internship program for young mining professionals.

The Sprint program, aimed at developing the National Personnel Reserve, allows university graduates to complete paid internships at the company’s four mines: Suzdal (Kazakhstan), gross (Russia, Yakutia), Lefa (Guinea) and Bissa (Burkina Faso).

We offer interns invaluable experience in the following specialties at our enterprises:

• Mining (mining operations);
• Metallurgy of precious metals (gold extraction factory);
• Mineral resources;
• Repairs (maintenance and repair of mining and auxiliary equipment);
• Finance;
• Supply and logistics;
• Human Resources Management (HR);
• Occupational safety and industrial safety.

The internship will take place in shifts in two stages. The first stage (6 months) is an internship in the main function with immersion in the Nordgold business system and innovative processes. The second stage (12-18 months) is an internship in the main function with practical training in technical skills, participation in corporate trainings and development programs. Successful completion of the internship will be the final appointment to the position of a specialist. Also, if interns demonstrate managerial qualities, the company will continue to develop them to the level of line managers, thereby replenishing its personnel reserve.

The selection of applicants for the internship will take place from May 1 to May 31 on the website of the Sprint 2022 program.
