On May 1, Karaganda industrial university celebrated the day of unity of the peoples of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated in almost all regions of the country. This day is one of the most significant holidays for the people of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the event is to increase respect for representatives of different nationalities and religions, promote peace, unity and common values. The event was attended by deans of faculties, deputy deans of faculties, teachers of departments, active student.

Director of the department of educational work and youth policy Salpenova Madina Meiramovna noted that on this significant day, which annually unites the nation, representatives of more than 130 nationalities and nationalities living in Kazakhstan live in peace and harmony, prosperity and unity.

The head of the department «history of Kazakhstan, social and humanitarian disciplines» Soltan Magira Soltanovna noted that the ethics of mutual understanding, restraint, respect for spiritual and cultural values of representatives of different nationalities influenced the formation of universal ideals and qualities common to all ethnic groups.

As a result, each nation, on the basis of constitutional and legal legislation, told about the social structure of Kazakhstan, preserving its inherent ethnicity.
