On December 14, 2021, on the basis of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Technologies, in an online format on the Zoom site, a guest lecture was held for students of the educational programs «Software Engineering», «Automation Systems Engineering» and «Artificial Intelligence Technologies» and the specialties «Automation and Control» and «Computer Engineering and Software». Ramazan Abdrasilov, Senior Expert of the Innovation Policy Section of the Department of Financial Technologies of the Committee of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) on regulation of financial services, acted as a speaker. The speaker introduced the students to the concepts of crowdfunding, mining, blockchain, the directions of development of the cryptocurrency market, and spoke about the opportunities for internships at the AIFC. During the lecture, the audience asked a lot of questions regarding the prospects of mining in Kazakhstan, the features of the functioning of the cryptocurrency market. The Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) plays a key role as a regional center for business and finance, linking the economies of Central Asia, the Caucasus, the EAEU, Western China, Mongolia, the Middle East and Europe.
