On August 13 of this year, Karaganda Industrial University hosted a meeting of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University Abdrasilov Bolatbek Serikbayevich with parents and students of our university to explain the format of the organization of the educational process in the new academic year.

Rector of KarIU Abdrasilov Bolatbek Serikbayevich noted in his speech that from September 1, 2021, the new academic year will begin in the traditional full-time format. For the educational process, the university held a number of events: classrooms and laboratories were put in order, cosmetic repairs of dormitories were carried out, irons, washing machines were purchased, televisions and household electric stoves are being purchased.

Taking into account the fact that classes will be held in full-time format, all students who are over 18 years old must undergo mandatory vaccination, check-in in dormitories will also be carried out on the basis of vaccination passports. The Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexey Tsoi said that when universities switch to offline training, 100% vaccination of students over 18 years old is necessary. If the students received the first component and did not have time to get the second one, then they can get it when they arrive in Temirtau. Also, students living in Temirtau can contact their curators, and if there is a large number of people who want to get the vaccine, it is possible to organize the receipt of the vaccine within the walls of the university.

In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the Ashyq application has been implemented in all buildings and dormitories at the university, a daily filter is carried out for all employees and students. Accommodation in dormitories will begin on August 25, for this everyone needs to apply to the Student Service Center through the website of our university.

This meeting turned out to be very productive. Many questions were asked, on which a number of proposals and instructions were made. The rector of the university listened attentively to the students, answered each question in an accessible and detailed way.
