On World History Day March 26-27, 2021 Dinara Kenesovna, head of the ANK department of the ANK, took part in the Republican, teaching scientific and methodical webinar with international participation on the theme «The cooperation of the ANK departments with museums and archives for the preservation of historical memory (on the example of the universities of karaganda region) organized by the Karaganda University of the name of E.A. Buketov together with the Association of the People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan Representatives of state bodies, civil society institutions, scientific structures, university scientists, fatherlyand foreign experts spoke at the webinar.

The aim of the webinar was to constructively discuss the methods of further development of the interaction of THEC departments, scientific and educational structures, civil society institutions, and international experience in preserving the common historical memory. The work of the webinar took place under the sensitive leadership of Kalashnikovoy Natalia Pavlovna, head of the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, I.L.N. Gumilev, a memberofthe State Commission for the Complete Rehabilitation of Victims of PolyticRepression, Chairman of the Association of Chairs of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan «Shanyrak»,Ph.D. political sciences; Yuman Seinegabdenovna, head ofthe Department of History of Kazakhstan and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan karaganda University, E.A. Buketova, PhD, on the online platform (uniting more than 130 participants) created an atmosphere of creative, scientific exchange of experience, generalization of proposals and recommendations on this societyof newsignificant, scientific and applied issues.

First, the documentary film «Тарихтан тағылым – өткенге тағзым» was presented, dedicated to the topic of preserving historical memory and experience in this direction of the Department of History and ANK of Karaganda University by E.A. Buketov.

Webinar passed for 2 days the main theme, which is scientifically and methodicallyensuring the preservation of historical memory.

In the final part of the webinar, reports of the faculty of the universities of the republic were presented, presentations prepared by the Association of Departments of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan «Shayr» were presented: a collection of materials of the third Republican scientific and methodical webinar «Improving the mechanisms of interaction of the ANK departments with ethnocultural communities: from the experience of the Southern region»; «A review of new publications on the topic of historical memory.» Kazakhstan is carrying out a tremendous work to rehabilitate the victims of political repression,not all the names ofthe repressed have been identified, and the oral histories of those tragic events have not been collected. Throughout the Independence Period, the Books of Sorrow have been published and this work continues, including through the efforts of the working groups of the State Commission for the Complete Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression.

On the initiative of the Association of Departments of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Shayr, supported by the leadership of the EDU and KarU, will be published a collection of webinar materials, it will be a kind of overview of practices and generalization of proposals to preserve and strengthen the common historical memory.
