On March 17, a festive event «Kosh keldin, Nauryz» was held in the historical and cultural center of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in which students of our university took an active part.

The purpose of the event: to acquaint the participants with the traditions of celebrating the national holiday of our people, to reveal its moral and educational significance.

The festive event was opened by the head of the Historical and Cultural Center of the First President Said Sargizova. During the event, the teacher of the gymnasium named after A. Bokeikhanov Guldana Aikeeva spoke about the importance of celebrating the national holiday of the people, about its customs and traditions. Then, the staff of the Center, welcoming the guests, showed the custom of «Kuris» of the holiday «Nauryz», expressed good wishes to everyone. Members of the city council of mothers Tagrif Abduakhitov and Salim Tokpayev told and showed the stages of preparation of the main dish of Nauryz meiramy – nauryz kozhe. Master of needlework of the city of Temirtau Zhamila Abdullaeva held a master class for the audience, demonstrating samples of national clothes made by herself. Aitzhan Isakov, a member of the City Aksakal Council, multiple world champion among veterans in powerlifting, blessed the young. The great holiday was continued by the famous Temirtau singer Zhanna Khasenova with the song «Nauryz koktemi».

Students of our university noted the enormous educational value of this event, tasted dishes from the festive dastarkhan. In conclusion, the leaders of the Center thanked the guests of the Open Doors Day and presented them with holiday gifts.
