On January 25, the spring academic semester of the 2020 – 2021 academic year started at Karaganda Industrial University. For students, the educational process is organized in a mixed format, lectures are held online, seminars, laboratory and practical classes of an applied nature – in the traditional form in small groups of no more than 15 people in compliance with all sanitary standards. For students of economic specialties and specialties “Computer Engineering and Software”, “Software Engineering” training takes place in a distance format.

The university has all the conditions for teaching students in the traditional (offline) format: a strict sanitary and epidemiological regime is established, the social distance is at least two meters between those sitting at the next desk, in laboratories 5 square meters are provided for one student.

By the beginning of the second academic semester, all dormitories of the University were 100% prepared in accordance with all sanitary standards and the necessary conditions for the students ‘ accommodation. As noted by the chairman of the KDM Anastasia Epaneshnikova: “The members of the Committee for Youth Affairs monitored the readiness of academic buildings and dormitories to receive students. We checked the condition of the rooms, bathrooms and shower rooms in the dormitories, and the comments we identified were resolved in a timely manner.”

Another pleasant surprise was the full scholarship received in time for students of all courses. “We received the scholarship for January on time and in full, and we would like to thank you for this. Ahead of us is the academic semester, which we entered with a good mood. We all missed the university and the student life during the distance learning, and many interesting events are planned, ” the head of the TFP-19k group, Khaitova Navruz, shared her emotions.
