The Memorandum is aimed at deepening and expanding the integration of science and education in the issues of joint research and development in priority areas of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, the practical implementation of scientific and technical products, training and advanced training of scientific, scientific and pedagogical, engineering and technical personnel.

Bauman Moscow state technical University is one of the oldest technical universities in Russia, as well as one of the leading technical universities. MGUT consistently ranks first in independent educational ratings.

Many famous scientists and specialists graduated from Bauman University: academicians Andrey Nikolaevich Tupolev, Sergey Pavlovich Korolev and many other designers of aircraft and missiles; academician Nikolai Antonovich Dollezhal, author of the nuclear reactor project, academician Alexander Ivanovich Tselikov-metallurgy, academician Sergei Alekseevich Lebedev, author of the first Soviet computer project.

Cooperation with the leading technical University in Russia is of great importance for KarIU. Establishing links with Bauman Moscow state technical University will lead to positive changes in the educational process.

The main areas of cooperation are: exchange of students, undergraduates, PhD students for training, research, internships; joint conducting of courses and seminars, management of master’s theses; organization of internships for teaching staff, researchers, undergraduates and PhD students at universities.

A mechanism will be developed and interaction of expert and scientific and technical councils will be ensured in assessing the level of training of undergraduates, PhD students, as well as their dissertations; participation in the implementation of joint research in priority areas using the material and technical base of the parties on a mutually acceptable basis.

In the list of main areas of cooperation – creating conditions for training and retraining of personnel that increase innovation activity in the system of education and science, commercialization of research results, joint organization of scientific and practical conferences and seminars, joint participation and development of programs of international cooperation in the field of science and innovative technologies, integration into the world scientific, educational and information systems, development of joint research projects for participation in competitions of international funds and organizations, as well as the organization and conduct of distance learning.

The Memorandum signed between our University and Bauman Moscow state technical University was another important step in the international educational integration of KarIU.
