Traditionally, in spring, our university hosts the beloved Miss KSIU contest. The organizers of the competition were the Committee on Youth Affairs, the trade union committee of students.

The current competition was held in an unusual format, for the first time it was held online. The contestants, and there were ten of them this year, presented their photos and videos, which demonstrated their skills and creativity. The jury was made by university students who voted for the participants they liked.

The following students of KSIU submitted applications for participation in the competition:

1. Aldamuratova Gulsaya – student of the ISA-19k group
2. Tuleshova Zamira – student of the TP-19k-2 group
3. Kosherbaeva Zhadyra – student of the EE-17k group
4. Talgat Aidana – student of the TFP-19k group
5. Zhenisbekova Perizat – student of the group BZD-19k
6. Bedelkhan Aishabibi – student of the PI-19k group
7. Sabyrbaeva Assel – a student of the TFP-19k-1 group
8. Jetpis Ulzhan – student of the PI-19k group
9. Sarsenova Zhaylygul – student of the MTNM-19k group
10. Erdauletova Altynay – student of the BZD-17k group

Each participant is beautiful and talented in her own way, the complexity of this year’s contest was that the girls had to show all their skills and creativity in a short video, and not on the stage. But, nevertheless, the girls dealt with it and after the vote count the winners were determined.

1st place was taken by Talgat Aidana

2nd place – Sarsenova Zhailigul

3rd place – Asel Sabyrbaeva.

Aidana will receive the coveted crown and ribbon “Miss KSIU-2020” as soon as the quarantine season ends. All winners will receive memorable gifts and certificates from the trade union committee of KSIU students.

The students of our university once again showed their solidarity and friendship, thereby confirming that even during quarantine very interesting events can be held.

The next stage in the plans of the Committee on Youth Affairs is the organization of the online competition “Mr. KSIU-2020”.
