In a difficult time for our country, teachers and staff of the Karaganda State Industrial University, supporting the initiative of our outstanding graduate-Elbasy N. A. Nazarbayev, within the framework of the Republican campaign of the «Nur Otan» party, held a campaign « Biz birgemiz!», aimed at providing assistance to lonely pensioners of KGIU, who are most in need of assistance now. The collected funds were used to purchase food packages, and 29 people were involved in the campaign.

Charity work is important not only for those who are helped, but also for those who help. During this difficult time, we must not forget about those who need our warm attitude and attention. They need everything: warmth, kindness, and just attention. As a rule, single people are very grateful for the help they receive, and they are happy to see each meeting, after which a single person feels necessary and important. Professors of our University, who are on a well-deserved vacation, have made a huge contribution to the development of the University. Thanks to them, the educational and laboratory base was strengthened, research works were carried out. They shared their experience with young teachers who are now continuing their work.

Also, as part of the campaign, assistance was provided to foreign students living in a University dormitory who were unable to leave Kazakhstan during the quarantine period.

It should be noted that the university regularly conducts charity events for its pensioners, as well as for the children of the house of Mercy and orphanages.

In January of this year, KSIU volunteers held a campaign to clear snow at bus stops in the city, supporting the Republican challenge « Biz birgemiz!». Also, during the days of strong blizzards, rooms in dormitories were provided for people trapped in the snow.

In this difficult time, the most important task is to preserve your health, the health of your loved ones and relatives. Only together can we solve this problem. Together we are power!
